Review for Firecracker Set Ablaze by Megan Flint
Firecracker Set Ablaze is a collection of Megan Flint’s Firecracker series books one through five, finally you get Trixie, Cy, and Erik all in one place! Keep in mind that this series is not for the prude. Trixie is a down and dirty girl who likes to bump uglies and often. Megan Flint gives you a colorful array of sexy descriptives that will keep your nether region on fire.
Trixie isn’t the standard female main character. She’s no wilting flower or damsel in distress. She is mouthy, tough, and knows what she wants or at least thinks she does. Even though she is the anti-damsel, there is still a softness to her personality and an inner vulnerability that she hides from the world at large. Trixie has been greatly disappointed by men in the past and holds no real expectation for finding a man that can handle her sexual appetites. That is until she meets Cy.
Cy is a super sexy masseuse that is instantly attracted to the fiery redhead. After just one weekend with Trixie he craves more and knows that he has to have her. Afraid to come on too strong he holds himself back and keeps their relationship light. Trixie is Erik’s one that got away… when she walks into his gym and back into his pants he can’t get enough, neither can Trixie. Then we have ole camel toe… even though I should have forgiven the witch, I still haven’t. I don’t think I will ever like her no matter the circumstances.
Back to the review! The growth and development of the characters throughout this story is well written. I like that all the characters start off a bit lost and then slowly start to find their way. The smut scenes are intense and raw. Y’all know I love my smut and read it often, it takes a lot to make me blush, but this book did! Several times actually… so reader beware… beyond sexy hot smut! I give this book 4.5 stars for storyline and 5 drenched panties for smut. Oh yeah baby!

Trixie Harridan is such an interesting character. She's agressive, daring and when she knows what she wants, she goes for it. Trixie being so needy does make her a bit selfish too. This kind of personality is what made this story such a really hot read.
With Trixie being needy, she does end up in a bit of a "love triangle." Here's Cy, a hot new guy that just came into the picture. Then there's Erik, another hottie from her past that she purposely seeks out to run into. Trixie wants to continue seeing both men since she enjoys being with both of them. Erik does have a business partner Vanessa, who was involved with Erik. She still has feelings for Erik and is not cool with Trixie coming back into the picture and isn't really quiet about it.
The way the events go in the story, I wondered as I read if she does truly want one guy over the other. Yes, I was rooting for one guy and I won't say who it is on here! What I will say is Trixie does have someone in mind and does make it known who she lays claim to!
Megan Flint has done a great job with this series. If you love really hot, sexy stories, then you will enjoy reading Firecracker Set Ablaze!

This was a great series! Megan does a wonderful job putting the reader right there with Trixie. Trixie is a woman who knows what she wants. When she meets Cy, the attraction is through the roof. Cy gives her what she needs and their fun relationship is great. Meanwhile Trixie gets back in touch with her old friend Erik. Erik is just as hot as Cy and the interaction between Erik and Trixie is just as amazing. The series focuses on the relationship between Trixie and her two men. Which guy will she choose? There are a lot of plot twists and the storyline keeps you interested to see what will happen next. Trixie is so funny and the way she handles situations keeps you in the zone. Overall, the story progresses great and you will be hooked until the end. All the characters are likable and make the series what it is. Everything works out in the end but the ride to get there is fantastic. 4.5 stars

A totally Hot series. Trixie is a woman who wants what she wants and gets it. She meets Cyril and things get pretty down and dirty right away. Then in comes the man from her past Eric. Trixie isn't exactly the woman who does relationships so she tries keeping them from each other and spreading her time between the two men. Things get pretty tricky and she is really only left with one choice. I really had no idea what she was going to do. No idea if the men were going to hate her when they found out or if she would ever commit to one of them or maybe even become a happy threesome

Unfortunately I wasn't able to finish this book. I've tried my very best but I was just really not feeling the main character. She's on a mission to find the right guy who can stand her "release" which from what I've read she sleeps around a lot! It's really not my cup of tea. The book is hot when it came to the sex part and that's about it.
