This review is for the second edition of this book.

Yet another outstanding book in the Kundalini Yoga library. Transcribed from lectures by Yogi Bhajan with additional text and modifications by Gurucharan Singh Khalsa, this is a classic text on understanding the multifaceted mind, the positive, negative and neutral mind and meditations to bring forth balance and self mastery.

I, personally, have experienced great change and increased mental clarity after incorporating the Negative Mind meditation into my morning Sādhanā. Allowing a clearly defined space to allow the negative mind to make an appearance for 11 minutes is pivotal. The benefits of this book have spilled over to my daily waking life in beneficial ways. I am more clear, more energetically peaceful and more aware of when my negative thoughts are leading my mind vs the quiet awareness of neutrality.
