Jess Archer is a woman on the run. It's just her and her dog and a hundred thousand dollars in stolen drug money heading to Texas and her brother for help. When she learns he's out of the country for a week, she has to find a place to hide out and finds herself in Satisfaction, Texas, where she meets rancher Murphy Smith and blacksmith Cole Reacher who introduce her to the joys of a ménage.
Their happiness is short-lived, however, when her ex, Detective Lance Dent, tracks her down looking for the money and her drug sniffing dog that he’s promised to sell to a drug cartel. If he doesn’t deliver, he knows he’s a dead man, so he’ll do anything to achieve his ends.
Things go from bad to worse when Lance decides to sell Jess, too, and it’s up to Murphy and Cole to rescue her.

I enjoyed this book. I liked Jess, Cole, and Murphy. I also liked the rest of the town's residents that we met in this book. All try to help her. No one judges. Jess does not listen so good although I do think some of the broad hints should not have been hints but just some straight forward talking. Their love scenes were hot.
Proofreading could have been better but the story was good. I hoped that they would work out Jess' problem and end up together.
This is a thrilling and action packed erotic romance that keeps the reader on their toes. I was captivated by the story from the very beginning and the author spiced things up with some surprises and some humorous moments that caused a few chuckles. The action scenes were believable and well timed making it easy to get caught up in the danger and the explosive passion between this threesome stimulates the senses. The story also introduces some more intriguing characters that I would like to read about, so I can’t wait to read the next one.
It felt formula . The characters had no depth, so there was no emotional ties for the reader. If you are looking for a quick read with no personal involvement for the reader this is the book for you. The road trip Jess made from Chicago to Texas is not possible. When she bought the jeep in Oklahoma she would be almost in Texas. In fact to get to New Mexico, and Arizona she would of had to gone through Texas. I know I live in New Mexico and I'm from Chicago . She also would have gone from New Mexico to straight to Elpaso on the highways mentioned in the book, about 1500 miles out of her way.
Jess is running from her ex-boyfriend/dirty cop and stops in Satisfaction, Texas to wait for her brother to get back in the states. Cole and Murphy are looking for the women to share their life with. Now if they can keep Jess safe they just might have a chance at forever. This is the second book of Diane Leyne's that I've read and I'm not sure that I'll read another. The books story line was good and I have to say it was better proofed then the last book of hers that I read but at the end it got worst almost as if she was in a hurry to finish.
I have never read any books by Diane Leyne, but after reading several excellent reviews thought I would give this one a try. I am glad that I did. The story was very interesting, the characters were well developed, and the reading flowed very well. I loved Murphy, the dog, as well as his human counterparts. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
Loved this book! Diane has been a fav author of mine for a while now and this book has just hit number one for me of her books. It's the right amount of funny, romantic, suspense and oh so sexy cowboys!! Jess is a hell of a heroine too, lots of fire in that girl!! Look forward to the next one!
I am not sure how I feel about this book.. it was a very quick read and they fell immediately.. it felt rushed but liked most the characters the dogs the best.
