Rod Cambridge created an iPhone app called Top-Tens to see how easy (or difficult) it was to make some money as an app developer. In this eBook, Rod uses this experience to take the reader step by step through the things that should, and shouldn't, be done when creating an app for Apple's iPhone or it's rivals including Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows Mobile devices.
For example, what things should you avoid when designing your User Interface? What about the different types of guerilla marketing tactics that you can employ to get sales moving? What about your two-minute elevator pitch? You *do* have an elevator pitch, don't you?
It's all here. Read "How NOT To Write an App" to give your app an edge in a very crowded marketplace.
The content was helpful and the format was easy to read. The author definitely keeps the readers attention with appropriately timed humor. The book also reads very easily. I would definitely read more from this author.
