Well, two-and-a-half stars. Lots of interesting information, but the writing is not particularly strong. It reads like a semi-detailed time line that makes it difficult to understand the stories as stories instead of a series of facts. The reader would have to be familiar with El Paso in order to understand and appreciate this book.
