When you're single, cooking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. I love this book because it covers the gamut from appetizers to desserts, and even has recipes for two-serving strudels and pies. The recipes are excellent -- not too mundane and while some of them are more gourmet, it's not like you have to have a ton of specialty ingredients to make these. I highly recommend this book!
