The mission was never supposed to be easy. Traverse dimensions, shift through alternative timelines, protect the Earth.

Andrew Ethridge had always known the stakes were high. Yet, nothing prepared him for the truth.

Jumping through parallel universes left Andrew with more questions than answers. As a member of the Cross Dimensional Corps at Area 51, he faces the daunting task of understanding why aliens were collapsing dimensions. It’s a race against time to save not just Earth, but the very fabric of the universe.

When inside a dimension where Atlantis dominates the world, Andrew and his team find themselves cut off from support. Their only way back is to rescue scientist Sabina Caelia. She knows about the aliens. And she’s on a mission of her own.

Then came the turning point. A revelation so profound, it threatened to shatter everything he knew. Andrew discovered a device capable of saving Earth across all parallel timelines. But in the wrong hands, it could mean the enslavement of humanity.

Now, Andrew's mission transcends mere survival or military protocol. Existence is on the line. Can a team of professionals achieve the impossible?

Experience the beginning of this sprawling action-filled sci-fi entry to the Blink series. If you’re a fan of Arrival, the Matrix, the Three Body Problem, or if you want to know what aliens are actually like, you'll love this military sci-fi epic.

Please note, this novel offers a unique two-in-one experience. Part I presents 'The Beginning,' a complete novella. Part II delves into 'Last Atlantis,' the first full novel in the series. Enjoy this almost 500-page dual literary adventure!

I am one of those people that do not believe in hurting or killing the innocent. That axiom does not get applied in Last Atlantis : Blink.
No. Here the working emphasis is on saving the multitude instead of the individual. Which keeps on sticking me in the craw.
But when the multitude is denoting not only a large number of people, but the entire earth, one's perspective changes.
But it goes further than that, it is actually all about saving an entire realm.
Everything!
For Andrew Etheridge that is the reality he has to work with. He should know. After all, he moves from one realm to the next to try and save realms from the awesome machinations of some alien entity that do have the power to destroy an entire realm...and does.
These two authors, Brandon Ellis and Max Wolfe, certainly play on a big stage here and making quite a superlative job of it.
The plot is straight forward until it suddenly isn't as the basic knowledge set increases and surprises set in.
And ensures that no reader will want to stop reading this tome for any silly reason.
Enjoy.

I’ve always liked rollercoasters, and this is a rollercoaster of a read. The story starts off quickly and keeps you going. Early on it feels a bit superhero-ish, but if you suspend your disbelief a bit it pulls you in nicely. The team at the heart of the story are believable. They race through an interesting set of different future earth dimensions looking for technology and clues that will help save humanity and trying to stay ahead of an unknown force that collapses dimensions whenever technology reaches a certain level. Interludes explain how that force came to be. The story gets more complex and moves steadily toward a cliffhanger ending. I’m definitely going to read the rest of the series.

Last Atlantis is an interesting story about alien invasion via multiple timelines. It was all just fine until the last chapter, where they explained (partly) where it all came from, at that point, I lost all interest in reading more in this series. I really think the story wouldhave been better without that reveal, and possibly without basing the story on that premise at all. I doubt I'll be continuing with this series.

Thrilling Time Travel

Ellis & Wolfe have used the familiar time travel trope for this series and I like what they have done as without going too metaphysical and confusing they have used the multiverse scenario and a race against time to save Humanity in an engaging and thrilling ride if action.
Although there was a few pieces that were a bit out of sync It does come clear in the end.
The main team characters were well thought out and created a nice balanced approach where we got to explore a bit more about them without taking away from the main story approach and narrative character.
Onward to the next book as this is being added to my expanding tbr pile.

This book provides an entirly different approach to the concept of time travel, dealing instead with inter-dimensional travel to the backdrop of a mysterious entity that is collapsing dimensions with superior technology. Each dimension is a version of the world where different "sliding doors" type events resulted in history progressing in entirely different ways so that each is unique. The travellers are traversing the dimensions seeking technology to help combat the entity and the action in each dimension is fast, with it being difficult to know who is on which side, who to trust etc. It will be fascinationg to see where the authors take this intriguing premise in future books.

Excellent multidimensional Sci-Fi

Great story. Follow a group of time/dimension jumping soldiers fighting an inter dimensional battle against a force of unimaginable power that is working to eliminate all technologically evolved worlds.

Visit multiple earths where our history took alternate paths. Atlantis, Rome, Egyptian all thrive.

Great start to a new series.

intriguing, dramatic and plenty of action

This is well written, but I’m not sure the style is for me. However, now I have started the series I want to know what happens next.
Jumping in and out of dimensions trying to act humanity is central to this book and the writing style emulates this as it quickly jumps.
If you like something different then give this a go.

Top Notch

Creative work with believable characters. A little too many POV switches for my taste. But it will hold the attention of most Sci-fi readers.
