Early years. This is an unusual reinvention of the Three Little Pigs story. Illustration is brightly-coloured and simple but effective. The book had split-pages too which were used to illustrate a house door throughout. The cunning wolf calls to the door dressed as a pig, and as various other characters, but the pigs reverse the role later by arriving at the wolf’s door dressed as a wolf. The role reversal portrays the pigs immediately as heroes and the wolf as a coward. Some of the pictures appeared scary, with sharp teeth etc. (1992)

A remake of the story the three little pigs but this time the big bad wolf puts on various disguises and tries to persuade the pigs to let him in. The illustrations are very good! I would recommend this book for elementary aged students.
