What does the Bible teach us about the afterlife? Passages throughout Scripture describe both heaven and hell. This book answers all the questions about what eternity will be like for humankind by discussing the Bible's teachings on the afterlife and delivering beautiful illustrations created by artists throughout the ages. Along with compelling Scripture and beautiful art, this book is also filled with sidebars-with text from classic and modern scholars, artists, and authors who have helped interpret difficult passages from Scripture-in order to help readers better understand what may lay ahead for each human being.

The belief of heaven and hell changes from person to person even from Christian to Christian. But here is the truth clearly to set the record straight. Not only do we learn if they exist but what we can expect. Whatever questions you may have the answers are here. The book is divided into two parts the first being on heaven. All our questions are answered such as what happens after death, what life will be like in heaven and what will heaven look like. In part two we learn about hell with answers to questions like is hell a choice, why there is a hell and what will hell be like.
Outstandingly written Hudson has included information from all the greats C.S. Lewis, Randy Alcorn, John McArthur, R. C. Sproul, God Himself plus many, many more. There is not a better book on the subject as you have all the information ever needed put into one book. Easy to read without the usual commentary lingo usually found on these subjects and concise being less than three hundred pages. Excellent study guide to read with your Bible to see what God says or read alone as an in depth look at heaven and hell. Highly recommend for teens and adults, Christian or non-Christian. Also would make an excellent ministry tool to reach the unsaved. This book is so outstanding it should be on every Christian’s bookshelf but on their e-reader too to be referenced again and again.
Have you ever really considered whether Heaven and Hell are Real? I suspect that even the most religous has at some time asked themselves that question. Much is written about Heaven, but when it comes to Hell, you don't always find and te pertinent information you may be looking for. "Heaven & Hell, Are They Real?, by Christopher D. Hudson is just the book you may be looking for, to answer some pressing questions. As for this reader, I found myself completely immersed in this book. Scripture after Scripture was presented to give me a better insight into the question whether Heaven and Hell really exist. I always believed that both Heaven and Hell existed, but after reading this selection, I am even more assured of their existence, and I for one have chosen Heaven over Hell. This book is broken down into two parts. The first part deals with the questions and Scriptures that bring Heaven into focus. The second part obviously deals with the question of Hell. Again, Scripture is utilized to inform and may I say educate the reader. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Thomas Nelson/BookLook for the privilege of reading and reviewing this selection. It I'd also like to thank Christopher D. Hudson, for compiling such an informative book. It is one book I will certainly read again, and should be in everyones library.
If Heaven does not exist then it is plausible to reason that Hell does not as well. Reasonable men and women must think that both do resonate, for what is the purpose of living this life that is infinitesimally short but seems insufferably long?
Most pressing of all issues discussed in this succinct book for many readers is whether their favorite pet accompanies them to Heaven. We all hope so, as Billy Graham imagined that a loving God would not consider leaving Fido behind, as much or more so than a beloved spouse.
Universalism, the belief that all go to Heaven, is widely debated and the arguments for it seem appealing. The significance of the existence of Hell diminishes the gift of Heaven, as contributors argue. Nihilism, another tenet, implies those of us who don't measure up to God criteria, simply cease to exist. And salvation, the acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as the person of your existence, is passionately asserted.
Fascinating as well are the descriptions of both places of eternal residence. A particular favorite is that Heaven may well be similar to the Garden of Eden, much larger and more beautiful than the original between the Tigris and Euphrates.
Surely all of us ponder what becomes of us after we die.
Not everyone is a Bible Scholar which explains why the popular Author Christopher D. Hudson is so popular. He has spent a lifetime helping others understand the scriptures. In his new book, "Heaven & Hell Are They Real?" he offers scriptural reference related to simple questions we all might have. I was given the opportunity to read this awesome book for the Book Look Blogger Team in exchange for my thoughts. I've been reviewing books for ten years and this is only the second time I purchased a copy for my Kindle. It's one of those books that I want to keep on hand for reference. I have many friends who ask me about the afterlife because I love studying about it. He addresses several concerns that almost everyone has such as: What exactly is our Heavenly inheritance; What will our bodies be like and Is Hell fair? There is also additional content from trusted scholars and questions for digging deeper. There is so much more to learn from Christopher D. Hudson that will widen our understanding of the afterlife. I highly recommend this book for everyone.
