Khanyisa Mnyaka is from Cala, Eastern Cape, South Africa where she was raised by her grandparents, a prison cook and a poor priest. Despite being raised in a poverty-stricken household in a town that nobody has heard of unless you’re from there; Khanyisa was able to graduate from the University of the Western Cape in 2007 with a BA degree.

After graduating, Khanyisa struggled to get a job in South Africa and that is when she decided to move to South Korea as an ESL teacher; a decision that led to a world of new experiences and life-changing events. When her two years in Korea ended, she went on to further her education at the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica where she Majored in Gender and Peacebuilding.

After obtaining her MA in Costa Rica, Khanyisa ventured to the Philippines where she cultivated a life of entrepreneurship for herself co-founding a number of different companies. Le Boat Expeditions is a company that provides tours between El Nido, Linapacan and Coron. Plumeria; an environmentally friendly beach resort located in El Nido, and Agape Love Foundation; a humanitarian effort that works with underserved communities around the world.

Beautifully written guidance for self-reflection

Recommended to anyone needing a coach to guide them through a wonderful and hard journey of self-reflection. Vulnerable and difficult stories that were so raw and yet beautiful.Absolutely loved the questions at the end of each chapter to dig deeper.
