Tory is a witch and fresh off a break-up. She decides to get a cat. Samson is an older, flatulent, overweight cat that loves to eat and she can hear him talk to her. Only her. When her best friend goes missing, it is Tory to the rescue.
This was going well until the end. WTF?

This was a pretty good freebie. I'd go with 3 1/2 stars. I liked the characters and the plot. This was a little fun, with some suspense, a drop of action and danger, and a good (if not complete) happy ending. This was a novella, so it was short, but a good taste for this series. I think I would enjoy reading more. Especially get to know this Sacha, she winds good and feisty. A great one-sitter or pick-me-up anytime read. Enjoy!

This is a short story that I forgot I purchased. It was good, it was strange and it had a sudden ending. This story has more questions than answers. I think reviewer Rosi Phillips has it right with her review and spoilers.

The Fat Cat by Edie Ramer
A Cattitude Short Story
Tory Brannigan is single again after her boyfriend didn’t like that she was making a career choice. So, what better way to replace a guy then with a kitten? At the shelter an overweight and quite elderly black cat seemed to talk to her, pleading for her to choose him. In the end, she took Samson home. Four months later she has fallen for the old cat. Now if she could just work magic to make him young so she can keep him longer. A short story with some great twists.

The book started out fine I enjoyed the characters and the plot leading up towards the ending of it but I think the ending was just a little too short there should have been more action more play something it was lacking I was very disappointed when it came to the end of the book I was just expecting more, more of a battle more of a fight between them two not just how it ended. Again to me the ending came up short.

The old cat's last stand? Maybe

Loved it. Going to the shelter she was on track to get a kitten so how did she end up with a beat up old specimen of a cat. Simple it talked to her. Being a witch isn't all its cracked up to be especially when one of your best friend's has been brainwashed and left everything behind. Can she get her back? A great little read with a plot that has a really great twist at the end. Well worth reading

This was one of those short stories that started great but the twist in the ending was off, to me. Loved the start; it instantly hooked me. The middle was a nice progression of plot and build up of conflict. But I didn't care for the ending. I wanted better for the character I was rooting for. And where did that cover come from?! Wrong graphics.

An absolute delight. An imperfect witch, an arrogant wizard, and an irresistible fat cat. A sweet and short fairy tale to make you laugh.
