“I love you so much
Then life blinks, and it turns to
I loved you so much”

This was a story about love, life, and acceptance, and what to do when love has gone.

I liked both Die and Alex in this book, and I felt really sad for what they were going through. Even though Alex was the one to leave, it was obvious that it was because he was hurting, not because he didn’t love Die, or didn’t care about her.

The storyline in this was about Die coming to terms with Alex leaving, trying to work out what went wrong between them, and learning how to carry on with her life as it stood. Trying to find her way, trying to find out who she was without Alex, and trying to learn to stand on her own two feet and be independent. I did think that some of her decisions were a little poorly thought out, but her actions and emotions fitted well with her heart break and confusion.

The ending to this was good, and I liked the way that the air was cleared between Alex and Die, and that they both knew why it was best to leave things the way they were, and where they were both headed independent of each other. It was sad that their relationship had to end, but even though it was sad, it was clear that it was what was best for both of them.

I'm a huge fan of Indie Authors, and pride myself on finding new and amazing writers who are just starting out. Lucia Morosanu is most certainly going to do great things. Her writing is clear and unique and has a definite "voice". The style is quirky, but strong enough to illicit an emotional response from the reader. This is a love story, or more like an end-of-love story and there is something so beautiful in the way she invites us into the lives of her main character, who is just starting to feel alive again. Anyone who has gone through a break-up will feel connected to this story. I look forward to reading more from Morosanu!

I was asked by the author to read When Implausible Events Occur and give it an honest review. This title is currently free on Kindle.

This wasn't what I was expecting at all and frankly it was a bit depressing and boring at times. The writing is also too poetic for my tastes. I will say there were some profound points that I really liked.

"Maybe love sometimes doesn't last forever, she thought, maybe sometimes love is just a lesson."

This story just wasn't for me....Sara

My Thoughts:

When Implausible Events Occur, It was my first book by Lucia Morosanu and I had heard pretty much nothing about it. However, had I gone in with the highest expectations but I was worried that Die will be one of those characters that I tend to hate because they can't survive without a man. But I was completely blown away by her.
Die is a very realistic character but she tends to live in her own world. She's seen so much sadness in her life that she doesn't expect happiness or a happy ever after with Alex, especially now that they seem to be ending things for real. She's reserved and pretty unwilling to let people in and she's kind of mad with herself for let her dreams aside to be the shadow of her boyfriend. However all the starts to change the more time she spends by herself. Sure it doesn't happen overnight but that's what makes this story even more realistic.
Why I didn't give 5 stars, well I was mad that Alex blamed Die he always expected some much for her but
seriously a relationship is between two even thou, she wasn't the best girlfriend by showing her love or asking why things changed he made a mistake by waiting for something that he never asked for. How you expect to know others feelings if you don't communicate. So it take two to tango dear Alex.

This short story will really leave you with something to think about it and for me it was that we don't have to settle just because is the best we can get, we have to try to reach our dreams not get shadow by someone. Oh and don't forget that get comfortable in a love relationship isn't the best choice, don't let the magic go away, if you do not water your garden nobody will.

I read this book quite quickly, its a short story and a good one. My thoughts as I was reading this book were that the thought process and emotional parts were so well written that it seemed to come from personal experience. I don’t know if the Author has been on a personal journey of love and self discovery, but this book was so well written that I could really feel like I was there with Die, (Diana). It is a beautifully written book by a talented Author.

The story follows Die after her live in long term boyfriend just ups and walks out one day. The story tells us how Die copes, what she thinks and what she does. If you have recently been through a break up this book would be perfect for you. If not, then it is still a very eloquently written story that drew me right into the characters thought processes.

The book is heartfelt, emotional and also has amusing parts too….

A friend visits to see how Die is and says….

“Do you want some chocolate?”

The main character Die is a writer, and the language that Die uses is just like the language of an inspiring writer. I felt that the book was about writing aswell as the story, which was great. I took pleasure in the way the words were used in this story, it was just so beautifully written.

“Its futile to pretend that linguistic grandiosity can explain life”…………..”That’s why I want to be a writer”

I would give this book 5 stars, I loved it and will definitely be looking out for more work from this talented Author.

In When Implausible Events Occur dropped into my inbox, I was skeptical, the book seems tiny with about 63 pages (according to Amazon). It is good to know that there are still talented indie authors in the world who can create a short story that moves hearts and triggers deep thought.

The story is about Diana, Die and her boyfriend Alex. From the start there was conflict, hooking the reader immediately, especially if you are no stranger to stagnant relationships. The author tells us a lot about Die without actually telling us, Lucia uses a different person or a snippet of memory to show the reader a lot of things.

Between that, Die moves forward in time, coming into realization how her relationship with Alex had ended up in the situation. Accepting that things are changing, Die then takes action that is reactive to the situation.

Sounds like everyone that I know, hence this book will be easily pulling emotions whether be the situation or the characters. Maybe we can learn a thing or two about it, or maybe you will scoff at their decisions and actions, but it is worth a peek.
If you have a young adult struggling in relationships, 63 pages is not a lot to go through, but you will be thanked for providing it.

Love is a very simple thing that often gets complicated. This story is about a couple who went from loving each other to being indifferent to the other's presence without realizing it happened.
It happens often, and it's usually the reason for divorce and infidelity, but rarely do you get a fictionalized inside look at a relationship gone...dull.
Each character is relatable depending on your mentality. Alex is tired of being simply there for Die, and Die is just too complacent for her own good.
A tale like this runs the risk of being boring, simply a psychologist's report from marriage counseling, but somehow this story keeps your interest from page one. It's not too long, not overly emotional and very real.
I liked reading it and I think others will, too.
