Blood Plow:
Daryll Panzram has had a tough life; he grew up being sexually abused in an orphanage, was bullied growing up for his horrible cystic acne - and now as an adult, life is certainly no better. He was just released from prison after accidentally killing a family while out working and plowing the roads. He was sexually and physically assaulted in prison and now as a free man, his wife and stepson physically and verbally abuse him. And possibly worst of all, due to the terms of his parole, he can no longer plow for a living, which is all he knows.
One day, he is caught plowing by officer Packard, who blackmails Daryll by telling him to pay him $2000 in the next 24 hrs or he will report him to his parole officer. After a whole day of horrible luck and being treated terribly, Daryll feels a fire start inside him. He is filled with an evil energy that yearns for revenge - suffering for the people that wronged him.
He welds scrap metal onto his plow truck, making himself a virtually indestructible Frankenplow, and so begins Daryll's payback - a night the town will never forget.
Nutcrackers:
Fritz is a puppet maker compelled to create nutcrackers exactly how they come to him in his dreams - female nutcrackers, always with some horrific injuries to them. Upstairs from Fritz is his tenant - a horrible man with a sick love of kidnapping prostitutes for his snuff films, which he films in front of his love audience of guests.
One night, Fritz wakes up to find all of his nutcrackers gone, meanwhile upstairs, the woman they were torturing has suddenly turned into a horrifying 7 foot tall wooden.... nutcracker? She instantly begins taking her revenge on the room of men, tearing them limb from limb, and of course, cracking their nuts in her jaws.
Santasexual:
As a young girl, Autumn thinks she hears Santa downstairs and sneaks out of bed to see him, but instead of stuffing stockings, he's stuffing her mother. From then on, Autumn develops an unhealthy obsession and kink - she wants to fuck Santa Claus. She's been banned from every mall around for sexually assaulting their mall Santas, but not one to give up, this year, she stays and hides until after closing and follows the mall Santa into a subterranean cave network under the mall. It's there that she will find a room in which all her dreams will come true.
Enter the Santaverse:
On Christmas Eve, Santa falls off a roof and cracks his head open. He finds himself floating bodiless, until he comes across another Santa - not himself, but one from another world - Viking Santa. I liked all four stories, but the first one was definitely my favorite so I'm glad it was the longest one, by far. My fifth Christmas read of the year!

Yes, it’s that time a year. When Christmas stockings are hung near the chimney with care. Children are nestled all snug in their beds while visions of sugar-plums dance in their heads. And R.J. Benneti’s reminiscences of soot covered phalluses and the legendary Ron Jeremy Claus. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
Benneti has once again created an insane atmosphere of snow, slush, sleet and a big 1994 Kenworth T800 spiked dump truck with a wide menacing scooping shovel. Blood Plow & Other Yuletide Tales With Guts And Entrails is a collection of holiday horrors that only exists in the shattered R.J. universe. Beginning with the primary story called Blood Plow (which is pretty much a holiday Death Proof) to the monstrosity short story that is entitled Enter The Santaverse, it’s these maimed and mutilated gifts that keep giving all year long.
If I had to describe Benneti’s writing style it would be, Jeff Strand on steroids mixed with a dash of Brian Berry’s B-Movie genius. The wit and clever use of off-colored humor enshrouding his creative horror, comedy and social commentaries are always a joy to read. He knows how to make the reader feel uneasy with morbid scenes of over-the-top graphic and gory content, all the while keeping a light-hearted indulgence of absurdity.
Blood Plow is one heck of an experience of non-stop screaming metal on metal, and I don’t mean the Judas Priest kind. Its heartfelt expression of goodwill towards men and Season’s Bleedings is one that will not be soon forgotten. “God bless us, every one!” A Horror Bookworm Recommendation.

Benetti thinks he can fool us into thinking he's only good at over the top bizarro extreme horror. But that's not the case at all.
The first story in this collection, Blood Plow, is one of the most engrossing stories I've read. It's about a man who's taken so much abuse he can't help but let the evil take over.
Nutcrackers is a gory blood fest of a revenge story.
Santasexual is a weird bizarro-erotica story about a girl who has a Santa kink.
Enter The Santaverse was at much fun to read. Poor Santa ends up traveling through different realities experiencing all the different Santas of the Santaverse.
This book has everything you need to distract you from the holidays while still celebrating the season.

Benetti is my favourite festive horror writer and this collection of four fucked-up festive tales in one extremely bloody and gore-ious book is a testament as to why! From bloody brutal, to creepy cannibalistic nightmare fuel, to steamy, sexy, sinister, to, well, just about every kind of Santa you could possibly imagine, including one who may seem very familiar to Benetti fans, and more, so much more…. Brilliantly imaginative, deeply disturbing and highly entertaining!
As always, I will write a few words for each story….
BLOOD PLOW…. The evil has been building for a while now in Esko, the entity surrounding it waiting for the right time and the right person to unleash itself upon. Darryl may just be that man, and Christmastime may just be the right time….
When it snows, its Darryl’s time to shine, to feel like a man again, in his outdated snow plow, so when hes told that he cant plow, cant make any money for his family, he doesnt take it very well. He’s suffered a lifetime of abuse and so its not just his sphincter that finally explodes when hes pushed too far. When he discovers the truth about his stepson, thats the final straw, a real hatred grows inside him, for everyone around him, everyone except Teddy anyway, and holy shit do things take a sinister and merciless turn.
This was a bit like when God told Noah to build the Ark, but completely opposite! 😂 The steady build up to utter mayhem and carnage was perfect! I cheered out loud when Darryl finally took his stand, it gave me all the chills, and what a magnificent, high energy, blood soaked finale!
NUTCRACKERS…. Fritz is a puppet maker, Nutcracker puppets his speciality, but these are no ordinary Nutcrackers….
Upstairs lives a man named Wyatt, who has a strange and disturbing hobby, and when the two lives unexpectedly coincide, Fritz’s nightmares and Wyatt’s past sins, it makes for a hellish tale of retribution….
SANTASEXUAL…. Autumn is awoken one christmas night as a child, to the sounds of festive fumblings from downstairs. Could it be Santa? Could he have cum already?
That strangely horrifying night turns into a kind of festive fetish once she reaches adulthood, leaving her (and me 😉) unable to look at Santa the same way ever again!
She gets a lot more than she bargained for though when her lust replaces her senses and she follows one mall Santa, making her feel as though all her christmases have cum at once!!
ENTER THE SANTAVERSE…. Santa is finishing up his gift giving on Xmas eve. When he visits the home of the Masters’ however, things take a horribly bizarre turn, and as he lays unconscious in the snow, his consciousness goes on a wild and crazy feverdream like trip….
What a story to end on, a real festive finale….if you like your festivities blood-soaked, debauched and merciless! (Who doesnt?)
A darkly hilarious collection of stories with every bodily fluid possible. Intense imagery and detailed descriptions etch the images directly onto your brain, you know, for future reference. When youre least expecting it, theyll be popping right back up and haunting you, like a misplaced mall santa’s erection, especially the high pitched screeching of metal that set my teeth on edge the whole time….

4 blood-covered tales that are great anytime of year! Nothing says the holidays like the story of a snowplow driver pushed to the edge and filled with Christmas madness. Poor Daryll can't catch a break, or how about nutcrackers that come to life with the souls of dead prostitutes that reek havoc? Fritz can't stop making the scantily clad nutcrackers, and he doesn't know why. Little did he know of the atrocities that occurred in the loft above him.
To further tantalize your interest, consider a woman who harbors a strong fetish for Santa Claus. She learns things that are beyond her wildest dreams. Eek. Okay, per usual Benetti delivers an effing banger. I’m obsessed with this one because there’s four stories in the collection, so you can just continue to binge read unhinged holiday related stories, one after the other all in one sitting. 🤌🏼 Benetti’s writing style and story telling is always a 10/10 for me, so obviously I loved everything about this book. 🎅🏼 Okieee, let’s do the damn thing and take ‘em one by one. 🤠
BLOOD PLOW 🩸🙅🏻♂️
“Flaccid flesh flailing. Gashed-up craniums rolling over crooked feet. Once un-brittle bones bruised and broken.”
Oh. Oh wow. I don’t usually note prologues, but this one was a quick one-two punch in the best way possible. Then the story itself was phenomenal! I read a lot of smut so I’m used to a good story about people getting plowed, 😮💨 but hot damn… this one was about an actual plow for the snow ❄️, and the absolutely unhinged owner who goes on a revenge tour. 😅 (kinda rightfully so, lol) There was a nice little plot twist that was top tier too! Blood Plow was the perfect way to start the holiday shenanigans to come. 😜

Lmaoooo… I so did not expect this to be what it was. 😂 I collect nutcrackers, so I feel like I’ve seen a lot, but never have I fucking ever. 😅✋🏼 This one had parts that physically hurt to read. I cringed. Quite a bit. 🫣🤫 It was depraved AF, but done really well, so I was here for it all. 🤌🏼 That’s one thing about Benetti’s writing I really enjoy, even through all the depravity, there’s still the added humor etc., making it super palatable to a lot of readers. 🙌🏼

Hmmm… gonna get really real here. 😂 I have a strong love / hate relationship with this story. Reason being… I despise the song 🎶I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus🎶 — and this story felt like Benetti knew my irrational hatred for the song and said “hold my beer, betch,” so yeah… 😒🤣 I wish I could say more but I won’t ruin the plot. However, despite what I said above, this story was obviously fantastic and definitely a favorite for me. It went fucking hard, and I’ll never look at a mall Santa the same way. The female MC is absolutely batshit crazy and completely unhinged… in the weirdest but best way possible…? 😶🌫️ You got me good with this one, kudos. 🫡

There’s a lot of writers that I chuckle at the stuff they must Google etc… then there’s those few writers that you wish you could be in their brain, even for five minutes, because you wonder… “what the actual fuck is happening in there?” Well, Benetti is one of those few for me. 😂 And I mean that in the most complimentary way possible… truly. Right off the bat with this one, I was transformed into the most absurd universe ever. 😅 I LOVED this one!! 😍 Viking Santa… Rasta Santa… Diddler Santa… Osama Bin Santa. 💀😂 Who would’ve thought?! 🤷🏻♀️ Sure as hell not me. But this was the perfect story to round out this amazing collection!!

Okay. Long story, short story:
The universe seemed deadset on doing everything it could to impede my reading this collection, and I couldn’t figure out why.
The it dawned on me.

Mr Christmas, himself, has the monopoly on this season, as it’s HIS season (even Dickens’ A Christmas Carol links you to his Amazon author page).
Obviously, somebody needs to learn how to share…
So.
Growing up, we always had spaghetti at the Xmas table. Nobody knows why. It was just a thing.
The reason why I mention that anecdote is because Spaghetti definitely delivers on a new holiday staple with this one.
Blood Plow is an absolute beast in and of itself, which segues into a series of seemingly unrelated Yuletide tales, culminating in Easter eggs, lore expansion, and one hell of an origin story.
Spaghetti, you’ve certainly spoiled us this year.

From a man who faced ruin after a mistake in his snowplow business to a deaf man's inventive nutcracker creations, followed by a young girl who witnesses too much on Christmas Eve, and concluding with a visionary Viking Santa, RJ Betty delivers a collection that does not fail to impress. Every story is skillfully crafted, drawing the reader in with a perfect balance of humor and intensity. Some moments elicited laughter, while others induced a sense of discomfort, making for a captivating and unforgettable reading experience.

disgustingly entertaining
This was a fantastic Christmas read. It contains four stories that were both vile and funny.
From a man who lost everything due to a mistake, he made while running his snowplow business, to a deaf mans nutcracker creations, followed by a young girl who, sees too much on Christmas Eve, and ending with a vision of a Viking Santa, RJ Betty does not disappoint on any of these stories.
Each one was so well written, and engaging. There were parts that made me laugh, while others made me cringe.
I highly recommend this book of twisted Holiday tales.

If you are familiar with the writings of R.J. Benetti, than you could assume that this book would be absolutely bonkers...and you would be right. There are four short stories here that should help with your yuletide hangover. My favorites being Snow Plow, and Nutcracker. 4 short stories in this anthology. My favorites were Blood Plow and Santa Muerte claus. Fast paced and gory. Book did come with a warning some scenes are graphic.

Blood Plow: a plow driver that has lost his licence due to a mistake has an evil spirit drawn to his misfortune and soon the body count rises. This was my favourite story. I felt sorry for the main character and his plight. When the vengeance comes it’s fast and brutal!
