A Shot with my Ex's Brother

Rate this book
He is her Ex's brother - which makes him strictly off limits. Tell that to her brain.

Dr. Reese Holden is a perfect male specimen. Gorgeous, intelligent, and broken.
Still crippled with grief over the loss of his wife and unborn child, he has closed himself off from love.
A very inconvenient problem for Jenna Turner, pediatric nurse, whose heart beats faster whenever he's around.
She shared a kiss with him nine years ago, will she have a shot at the sexy doctor now?
Not if his brother can help it.
But fate has other plans when Reese and Jenna face a life-altering decision together.

A slow-burn tangled tale of forbidden love with a HEA.

Hmmm.....
What a good way it was to write the story.

I've loved reading every second of it and it was short too.

Btw, why did his mother keep only 3 ribbons instead of 4?

Didn't his wife also die with the baby? If there's a ribbon for the baby, then where's the ribbon for the baby's mom?

It was also said the ribbon were kept to remember them. So they only remember the baby and don't remember the baby's mom?

According to me it was a good book with nice characters and a nice plot.

But the story lacked an ending for which I've given the story 3 stars.

I've also received a free copy of this book via Bookfunnel.

Home Is Where The Heart Is -
Jenna knew her return to her home town would cause a stir, but she never expected her ex-boyfriend to create problems for her. Luckily, his older brother Reese stepped in to mediate, which brought him and Jenna closer. Unfortunately, not everyone was happy with them spending time together, but they didn’t let it stop them.

Fortunately, Jenna was able help Reese when he was in a middle of a crisis, which gave him the opportunity to let go of all his pain and finally acknowledge his feelings for Jenna, so they could have a chance at a happy life together. This was a slow build, entertaining and well written story, that kept my interest from the beginning until the end. Grab a copy of this book and relax on the couch with a nice drink.

I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

a freaking decade

Jesse needed to get over himself. He was acting like a man still wanting hisnex with the way he went in the attack. Jenna should have made amends earlier. Reese was a man trapped. It was a nice story that went too fast and could have used some more filling. I did enjoy the story.

Enjoyable romance novella!!

I really loved reading this sweet, page turning and engaging romance! The plot was excellent and the character development so believable for such a short story! I'm really looking forward to reading more from this author.
