I love this book!! Author and illustrator, Nikki Mitchell, takes us on a wonderful fishing adventure with a little girl and her grandfather. The girl is the narrator, and she does a fine job explaining the how-tos of catching an Emily. A fun book for young readers, young listeners (toddlers to lower elementary), and for the adult lucky enough to be reading it to someone very special. The illustrations are bright and beautiful. Nikki Mitchell does a great job of conveying emotions through her pictures and through her words. Thank you for the delightful adventure, Nikki!!
