This book is presented as a guide to the Hermetic Philosophy, attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, and it encapsulates esoteric principles that are believed to unlock profound truths about the nature of the universe and the self.
In addition to the original text, this book also includes Esoteric Perspectives on the text.
This was a mental exercise, had to do some mental gymnastics. Glad I got chemistry, science, biology and math in school cause this book took me back to those days. I find it hard to give it stars.
This is very difficult to read and to absorb if you have no idea what the author(s) are trying to convey or explain here since most of the sentences are seemingly (or intentionally) explained too vaguely, cryptically, or loosely.
I'd personally rate it as a 1/2 star if I hadn't noticed/observed such situations myself nor heard and read similar content, references, or testimonies, beforehand.
I think it is pretty amazing that the authors were trying their best to share these philosophies that has been around for centuries yet whatever has been share stills resonate and coincides in many modern philosophies/scientific discoveries on explaining how our given reality works in the metaphysical, spiritual, mental, and physical plane/sense/phenomena.
P.S. I'm pretty surprised that the law of attraction also was found in this book.
A splendid book. It is one of the books that makes you understand that knowledge must be accompanied by use. It certainly adds sometging to your understanding, which is the important point of reading a book. In addition, it is considered a reference for several points in understanding cosmic laws.
