I'm not much of an athlete, but even I found some valuable insights among the pages of Pure Unadulterated Guts. I read a lot of self-help and motivational books, so I was happy to see Riley not only pulling from some of my favorites, but demonstrating how we can incorporate these great ideas into sports, and our everyday lives. My favorite feature can be found at the end of each chapter. Every chapter contains some "challenges" to make the read more interactive and meaningful. Pure Unadulterated Guts is a great resource to have on your shelf!
This was a good book with a lot of great advice toward pushing through. I read it to now recommend it for my sons to read. A lot of sports analogies and stories, so I’d say geared toward the sport lover, but still good for anyone.
