Bring Forth Your Record : A Guide to Preserving Spiritual Experiences

Rate this book
You can create the most important journal entry of your life in less time than it takes to compile a grocery list or respond to an email. When Jesus Christ visited the Nephites, He said, "bring forth the record which ye have kept," then directed them to write about the miracles they witnessed.

Bring Forth the Record uniquely
• True stories to help you identify the tender mercies in your life.
• Engaging methods to help kids and teens learn how to recognize personal revelation.
• Fill-in-the-blank and multiple-choice questions that make it easy to get started.
• Solutions for individuals who feel overwhelmed or inadequate.
• Inspiring counsel from ancient and modern prophets.
After years of writing instructional materials and personal histories, Rachel Matthews created this guide, Bring Forth Your Record, to help you access the power and blessings that come from keeping your own record of Jesus Christ.

The author directs us in recording spiritual experiences that serve several purposes: 1. **Personal Reflection:** Keeping a record allows individuals to reflect on their spiritual journey. It provides an opportunity to revisit and contemplate experiences, gaining deeper insights into personal growth and development. 2. **Understanding Patterns:** By documenting spiritual experiences, individuals may identify patterns or recurring themes. This can help in understanding the nature of one's spiritual journey and the lessons or messages that may be present. 3. **Guidance and Direction:** Recorded experiences can serve as a guide for future decisions or actions. Insights gained from spiritual moments may provide clarity on life choices and direction. 4. **Sharing with Others:** Some individuals find value in sharing their spiritual experiences with others. It can be a source of inspiration or comfort for those going through similar situations or seeking guidance on their own spiritual paths. 5. **Memory Preservation:** Spiritual experiences are often deeply personal and meaningful. Recording them ensures that these moments are preserved for future generations or for personal recollection, helping individuals maintain a connection to their spiritual history. 6. **Tracking Growth:** Over time, reviewing recorded experiences allows individuals to track their spiritual growth. It can be a source of motivation, showing how far one has come on their journey. It's important to note that the decision to record spiritual experiences is a personal one, and not everyone may choose to do so. Some individuals may prefer to internalize and reflect on their experiences without external documentation. I received and Advanced Reader Copy of this book, but all opinions are my own

At an early age I started to keep a journal, as I've gotten older I have slacked off in my efforts. This book has given me new inspiration. Through stories, starter prompts, and even forms, the author provides tools to help us in our efforts to record spiritual experiences. A wonderful book.

I received an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) from the publisher however the opinions are my own.
