It’s the most wonderful time of the year… for most people, but for Brionne Caiani Shepherd, that is not the case. The holidays bring on an onslaught of negative emotions, but she is a mother first and does everything she can to make Christmas memorable for her son, Sakrid.

Demiri for the mf wiiinnnnnnn!!!!! Come thru Christmas Wishes!! This was a cute story! And gave all the Black Hallmark and Holiday Vibes!
Brionne story opened up with tragedy. While grieving one loss she was hit with another with no room to even catch her breath. Her grief almost swallowed her whole but she knew that she had to be strong for the life she created and with her sister by her side she did just that. Fast forwarding 6 years later, life hasn’t been butterflies and rainbows for Bri. She is struggling to make ends meet and her spirits are low. When a routine trip to the mall for pictures with Santa results in her 5 year old son Sakrid handing over his Christmas Wish list, Bri could have never imagined the turn their lives would take! While the beginning of this story pulled at my emotional heartstrings, the ending did as well but for very different reasons. It had just the right amount of Holiday vibes sprinkled throughout and overall I enjoyed this read!

Brionne x Demiri
This one started a bit sad. Brionne experiencing hit after hit, I didn't think she'd be able to get up. But with her little human being to take care of, she had to start living again. Mall Santa, Demiri was determined to get BriBri to smile again. He applied the right amount of pressure, showed up for her and got his girl. I enjoyed this one.

Christmas Love
Brionne had experienced way too much tragedy back to back, making Christmas a hard time for her. However, years later she was doing her best to conceal that pain from her son Sakrid which led to her taking him to meet Santa aka Demiri at the mall.
This sweet and spicy story slowly restores Brionne's belief in love for herself which she didn't think was possible. Demiri is the man every tired mother needs, willing and eager to shoulder her burdens.
They definitely had Christmas sprinkled throughout and I enjoyed the story.

A sweet read
The story was a sweet read. I thoroughly enjoyed this Christmas adventure. The beginning with the couple being so young initially had me shaking my head at the events early in the story. Then flash forward six years and the story had a different tone. No spoilers... the story is a sweet read...

Santa bae
I loved this book so much. It had me smiling so hard throughout this book. The prologue had me ready to throw my iPad because how much loss can one person take within a short period of time?! But at the end of every storm, there is a rainbow and Brionne received her rainbow in the form of a mall Santa. From their initial interaction, I was rooting for Brionne and Demiri. They were so cute together. I loved how Demiri showed her his love and lightened her load and allowed her to have him as a safe space. I loved his bond with Sakrid and just how genuine and sincere he was. Sakrid was such a cute and funny kid and Emoree gave her sister the words she needed to hear when she was confused. This was such a great book and wonderful Christmas story. I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author.

Just a little more oomph!
I love this time of year when all of the holiday reads hit the scene. This is another new author to me however this book did not quite give me the holiday feeling that I was searching for. It was missing something, I am just not sure what. The characters were decent, but I feel like the chemistry or the lead-up to Demiri and Brionne could have been stronger. In my opinion, Sakrid was adorable but his personality was too mature for a five-year-old. However, I was glad that Brionne finally got herself together and opened her heart again to love.

Breanne and Demiri, When Love Helps You Heal
My heart broke at the start of this book!!!...I questioned why and how much can a person take before they totally break!!!...
Brionne showed that we are definitely stronger than our hearts lead us to believe!!!...Although still struggling with grief, she found a reason to get up and face the world every day with her son, Sakrid who is wise beyond his years!!!...
Her sister Emoree is that voice of reasoning and encouragement that she needs when she feels down or defeated!!!...
Demiri was a blessing to Breanne and her and her little family was a blessing to the man that had no family!!!...
Sometimes the season that brings you joy, can leave you struggling with grief and depression!!!... That season can also bring you back from a very dark place with the ppl that surround you and give you another reason to smile and celebrate!!!...

Brionne experienced the loss of her parents and after learning of her pregnancy, she received more grief. Her fiancee was killed. This was devastating. With the help of her sister, Emoree encouraged her to pursue love again. Her son, Sakrid had a Christmas wish for Santa, one Demiri Frost. His wish was fulfilled.
This was my first read by the author! It definitely won't be my last. It started with me shedding some tears at all that trauma that Brionne experienced. But when she meet Mr Frost, things changed for the better. His encouragement and steamy scenes was all the making for a HEA.

Chemistry 🔥🔥🔥
Tragedy struck Brionne's life twice in a short amount of time but meeting a Santa Bae makes all of her Christmas wishes come true. I really enjoyed reading about Brionne and Demiri. There was chemistry from the very beginning on both of their parts. Demiri showed Bionne how a man is supposed to treat and support his woman. I'm glad Brionne was able to find love again. She certainly deserved to after all she went through. Sakrid was such a cute kid and I loved the way that Demiri treated him and included him in his interactions with Brionne. Ms. Baxter wrote a great intsta-love book that I couldn't put down.

God, I’ve seen what you’ve done for others…
… and I’m ready. Absolutely loved this quick read. It had all the elements of a Christmas love story - sweet, hopeful, and the right amount of sexy. Forget Boaz, where is my Demiri?! lol! Short and sweet, but gets the job done. I wish we could’ve seen things from Demiri’s perspective.

Short and Sweet
After tragically losing her love it was heartwarming for Brionne to find love again. I loved how intentional Demiri was in loving her. And, how he accepted her very intelligent, perceptive, and thoughtful son. This was a sweet holiday story. I just love Ms. Riley Baxter.

Fast moving
Even though Dimiri and Brionne he's relation moved at a whirlwind pace, this story deals with mourning of loved ones and how mourning is different for each person. Still Brionne took her son's feeling into consideration. He took his mother's feeling in consideration when he made his Christmas wish to Santa. I'd say that alk three got what they wanted for Chrismas.

Good Holiday read! I love Sakrid, Brionne's son. At 6 years old was wise. "What do I get out of you and Mr Demiri being a couple"? That question had me giggling, it was too cute. Way to look out for both you and mama.

Baby, Frost was on a mission. I love that he was able to show and prove without millions. He provided selflessly and without being asked. If “Did what needed to be done” was a person. Frost was just how I like my coffee, strong but sweet.

this book was so good it always so hard to overcome grief of losing someone. it take some longer than other but being hit over and over tends to make you question God even when you don't want to . Santa Claus come into her life just when she need him to help relief some of her burdens.

Didn’t See How They Connected
This was an okay read for me. I didn’t feel the connection nor real love between them. They never really discussed anything meaningful and quickly fell into an intimate relationship. This book was very bland in my opinion.
