She's everything he thought he didn't want and very, very human. The only way to convince her to take a chance on him is to tell her the truth, but the shifter world and its dangers are kept secret for a reason. If he’s not strong enough, he might lose her and his life. Can he trust her with his secrets about the past he can never outrun or will telling her the truth only put them all in greater danger when the current alpha learns Hawk intends to challenge him and reclaim his rightful position as pack alpha?
This was so weird. The story started out promising. I realized as a short story some things would be rushed and was OK with that. What I didn’t expect was the weird last minute insertion of vampires and anti-vampire potion. The whole climax scene was rushed and nonsensical and really ruined it. An OK story to start , but too many elements were tried in the last bit of the book then the whole thing ended super abruptly. This was fanfiction gone wrong. let’s hope this doesn’t go on to try to be a series.
There wasn't a lot of characters in the story but There wasn't a lot of characters in the story but each was written Very well. They each had a special character That you Related related to.
The story get you right from the beginning And doesn't let you leave until the very end of the story. Thank goodness it's a short story So I didn't So I did not have to For go happy having my ice cream. The author Is very good at making you Feel something before it's put into words And to me that's a very good author
The Goodreads reviews had my expectations set pretty low. And yeah, it was below average. The author mixes up past and present tense a lot. The ending felt cheesy and rushed. They never actually solved the FMC’s problem with her ex.
I absolutely love this book I loved Hawk and loved the wolves story and how well it was put together of his mate this was once of my favorite stories so far this year... 🖤💜
