This book covers a wide range of topics on Bayesian inference. Specifically, it includes the estimation of parameters of statistical distributions and differential equations, estimation of high-precision solutions by data assimilation, infection problems of new coronavirus, diagnosis of diseases, pattern recognition, and inference in the brain. The author thinks that all of them are suitable problems for treatment by Bayesian inference. Through this, the readers can understand the wide range of applications of Bayesian inference. The author thinks that the method of explanation is also a feature of this book. The explanation method is not always smart, but I think it is easy to understand. Furthermore, programming codes in the C language are given to readers interested in applying Bayesian inference to practical problems.
