Another great book to add to my collection. The Fire Rune follows The Blood Rune quite well, delving into different, real world themes to bring the reader to light some harsh truths of life. The novel sees Ronan develop additional relationships whilst building on others, growing all the while.

I found this book retains the magic of the first with a slight change in direction in what Ronan is working towards, and yet still builds characters who have their own personailities, both charming and cruel. I thoroughly enjoyed it, got through it quite quickly, and got hooked by the author again in craving the next addition to the series.

Have just finished the second book of Mark Kleinschmidt's trilogy, The Fire Rune, and have very much enjoyed sharing in this great story, as I did the first book. Again, I was able to dive into more of Ronan Ryan's character, and the others too, evil or otherwise. I continue to love Mark's style of writing and he again enabled me to have a complete sense of 'being' in the surrounds. I felt as if I was there in Ireland. I can see, smell, hear the surroundings as much as the characters. Again, well done Mark. I look forward to The Lost Rune... I'm with your mother... when's the next one being published...

I really enjoyed this book and again, a hard book to put down. I completed this book in 4 days.... fast for me. It has action, suspense and woven throughout, a sense that good will always prevail. A gripping book, suitable for a wide range of ages from teenager to adult..... can't wait until the next book.

I loved this book. Fast paced and a real page-turner, I devoured the story in two sittings. Poor Ronan really needed a hug after his adventures - but it was great following his wild ride and young romance! A gripping book, suitable for all ages and one you can't put down.

The Fire Rune continues the adventure with excitement and fast-paced action. As the reader learns more of Ronan's abilities, it becomes quite impossible to put this book down. I am certainly looking forward to the next instalment!
