This book is a great resource for completing class assignments for older elementary students. The Arizona facts and information in the text are very extensive and detailed, yet approachable. Numerous visual aids such as charts, maps, and photos do a great job of supplementing the text. Many facets of Arizona’s history and current issues are covered from indigenous people to famous people, from early settlements to modern cities, as well as government, and the economy.

I liked this book because it has a ton of useful information packed into its pages. In addition, the layout and design are very pleasing.

I recommend this book for students in grades 4 – 6. It is a one-stop-shop for gaining pertinent facts about Arizona.
