Much attention has been given to a recovery of gospel centered living, Biblical interpretation, and worldview in the last 20 years. Those of you who are new to that recovery will find Alford's book very helpful for an introduction. Those of you who have been aware of this conversation and have engaged with those authors and speakers will likely find this book to be a bit of review - but still helpful review. Alford has done well to remind us of various areas that the gospel of Jesus applies with many helpful and beautiful illustrations.

An important book that is both essential and encouraging. A great re-centering around what truly matters in our faith written with a pastor’s heart and passion. Highly recommended reading for all Christians to reflect on the true essence of our faith and how we should live based on the beauty of that truth.
