Journey Through a Tropical Jungle is shelved with books for older children. Forsyth is a Canadian biologist, photographer and adventurous nature-lover. He includes beautiful pictures, and information written at an accessible level about his travels by foot through Costa Rica. His sense of wonder and discovery and respect for nature is evident throughout the book. He shares his thought processes about what and how he learns from nature.

A longer book with paragraphs about LOADS of information on the Tropical Jungle. Talks about all creatures in the jungle, including mammals, insects, spiders, birds, and everything else in between. Also talks about preservation and loss of jungles. Multiple great, realistic photos on each page.
