Wild Tomb: A Coastal Caribbean Adventure

Rate this book
A brutal assault.
A mysterious legend.
A deadly conspiracy. When a vicious shooting at the local library leaves several dead, Tyson and his Navy buddy, JD, try to make sense of the carnage. But this wasn’t a random act of violence. It was targeted.

As the deputies delve into the case, they discover the intended victim escaped. Sophisticated criminals will stop at nothing to track the lone survivor down and acquire her knowledge.

Tyson and JD must get to her first and earn her trust.

But she has secrets of her own, holding the keys to an ancient legend that could alter the fate of humanity.

To complicate matters, the duo tracks down the senator’s assassin. But something is fishy about the whole scenario, and Tyson has his doubts.

To unravel the mystery, the deputies embark on an adventure that takes them across the globe and threatens their very existence. From the glamour of Paris to the scorched deserts of Egypt, to serve justice and save the world, they may have to break more than a few rules. And the tomb they discover may be their own.

It’s whiskey, women, and wild escapades as the best friends export their brand of justice far beyond the Florida paradise.

"If you like thrilling tropical adventures, you'll love Tyson Wild.”

WHAT ARE THE PREDICTIONS FOR THE FUTURE??

As usual, another good Tyson Wild adventure featuring the usual cast of characters plus an array of new villains. Tyson and his merry cohorts travel to Paris and Egypt to try and find an ancient scroll. For those wondering how the quest progressed, you’ll just have to read the book.
As a strictly personal observation regarding this installment of the adventures of Tyson Wild & crew, I felt it was a bit of a let down as the next book after the exciting adventure of Wild Alpine.

Same old same same.

These books are repetitious, same old stuff, don't like the going to other states, now countries. Wish this author would get back to the earlier books like hunting and finding pirate treasures. I ended this book about a quarter through and i don't think that i will try another until they change.

The First One

I've read every Coastal Adventure. This is the first one I didn't complete within 24 hours. Besides being even more farfetched than normal, it seems Tripp Ellis has grown tired of writing about Tyson Wild. I'll complete the series, as it has brought hours and hours of vicarious thrills, and I want to thank Mr. Ellis for the ride.

Does not take place in the usual spot. Frankly, it was same old even though they went to catacombs and all and all over. Usual sex and I’m trying to remember how many women these men have bedded over the 27 books. The author was trying out a new venue but I think this theme is better left with Cotton Malone.

I’m waiting for more hidden treasures.

Disappointed.

I have given EVERY Wild book (62) a 5 star review except for this one. The story line was just not interesting, and I found myself scrolling and skipping just to get through it. Not sure what happened here but look forward to the next one.

Tyson is back on track with action outside of the Keys. This has echoes of our first introduction to Tyson Wild. A quick read with characters reintroduced from the past. An enjoyable read.

Wild Adventure

This is one of Tripp’s best yet. The descriptions of the ancient buildings reminded me of another great book I read a long time ago, Pillars of the Earth. So, thank you for the memory. Tyson and Jack take on a case that has them globe trotting around the world to exotic places trying to help a librarian find her mother and an ancient secret that could bring evil to the world. Will this be the death of Coconut Key’s two best detectives?
Thanks again for entertaining me!
