Nothing has worked to bring the lost quadrant of Euripides back into the League’s fold. In desperation, the bot known as Lead Tetrarch Jade Thrall calls for an Apocalypse Code, directing all available SSI personnel to attack the planet’s infrastructure.
The newest tool in the assassin’s arsenal are specialized bots known as H-LADs, nicknamed Hollow Lads for their ephemeral nature. With the assassin known as Agent Blackmark sprung from prison, the Hollow Lads and other enemies of the Planetary Republic embark on an unprecedented crime spree filled with death and destruction.
But the local AI has some tricks of her own up her sleeve, including former SSI agent Remington Rennison. And Remington will do everything she can to thwart the League on her new home planet.
Don’t miss the latest installment of this action-packed space opera in Jaxon Reed’s Milky Way Universe, filled with space marines, intrigue, fistfights and non-stop action!
Lead Tetrarch Jade Thrall is at it again and has a plan. But of course there was opposition and AI's and others causing trouble right back. It was a fun read and lots of people wondering in and out and causing lots of issues. Lots of action, intrigue, surprises and trouble.
When conventional methods fail, the enemy pulls out the dirty tricks. But our heroine knows their play and has some tricks of her own.
This is book six of the series. It does okay as a standalone, but it is also somewhat of a serial. The further along we go, the more you will be missing.
This is a SF action story. The story is well written, easy to read with a fast paced action plot that grabbed me at the start and built from there. The setting is well developed with lots of nuances to it that provide a little surprise around every corner. The characters are also excellent, particularly our hero. The journey has lots of twists and turns to it that kept me turning pages to see what was coming next. Overall, a highly enjoyable story and I look forward to the next book in the series.
Highly recommended.

The latest installment of the Star League Assassins series is a like a quick layover on the way to your final destination. This episode focuses on the Euripides a former League planet that has recently switched alliances and is ready to join the Planetary Republic. Before that can happen, the League's SSI sends some mischief makers in the form of H-LADs. The first half of the book focuses on these events. There is a good bit of fast paced action, but it doesn't feel like it adds much to the broader story line. The book wraps up with a great set-up for the next in the series, which I am now eagerly awaiting.

fast paced, short, not a lot of character development. but well worth the read.
A good fast pace, short book. This is an excellent series except for a few flaws. Sometimes I would like to see the bad guys caught by the good guys instead of getting their just desserts handed to them by other bad guys. Since the books are short, there’s not much room for character development or should I say a lot of it. I would like to see the MC’s continuing character development, but since I know this is only a 10 books Aries and it’s almost over or at this writing is over. I don’t think that’s going to be possible. I will read the book too is conclusion, and if the author decides to offer all audible books and a bundle, I would definitely purchase it.
Lacked content. Things seemed to be almost glossed over at times, yet at others detail was too much. Having enjoyed the previous 5 books this was a disappointment overall, but still good enough to keep me interested in future books
