Rate this book
After seven months on the run, Carter Reed is coming home to Texas.

After the most dangerous and wonderful month of his life, Carter’s time as a fugitive has ended. He and Allison can now return to Texas, his home, and visit his family without fear he’ll be arrested. Sadly, Allison’s problems remain. The alien bounty hunters have lost her scent... but they’re still out there.

Still, Carter hopes to enjoy a reunion with his family and introduce them to Allison, the love of his life. Everything is working out great until Carter’s old girlfriend, Barbara Smith, ends up entangled in an alien conspiracy even more dangerous than the one he and Allison just escaped.

With the help of Larika, Allison’s mischievous counterpart, Carter and Allison must find a way to save Barb from the alien conspiracy that’s ensnared her. Along the way, they’ll finally get the chance to ensure Allison no longer has to run as well... but only if they survive long enough to make that deal.

An OK story

It was ok. The storyline was a bit rough, the drama kind of flopped in different places.

It had bits that were somewhat amusing, bits that were extremely frustrating, and bits that somewhat nonsensical.

Could it be better? Definitely.

Could it have been worse? Absolutely.

But it was an enjoyable enough read overall.

A good man

Aliens among us. Those of us that love wyfy, understand and have expectations of wyfy novels. Those thoughts, with love added, present a world of what we imagine it could be. Beauty, passion, enemies, struggle, are what I hope make you enjoy this series as I have. Recommended.

Absolutely a wonderful adventure with passion

All characters are excellent and the underlying theme of this story is great. The development of emotions and feelings between the two MC is excellent. Truly enjoyed the story and would have definitely enjoyed more. Including Barb more intimately into the relationship would have been awesome. Either way an excellent story.

By this point in the series you probably know what you're going to get, and mostly that's right: Lots of wish fulfilment (and sex).

But actually, I think the writing is improving as the series goes along. And while this seems to wrap up this series, it makes me quite interested to see what the author does next.

Fantastic series!

This was very happy making story. It is sexy hot but a story of how to treat others. Aliens just make it more fun. The fantasies that arise from the ideas of an aliens shape shifting partner, hoo boy!

Back to Texas

Alternate universe, aliens, advanced technology, romance, adult situations

More alien hijinks as Carter and Allie invent her human backstory, and his old girlfriend visits. Plenty of sex scenes and aliens as well. Above average editing. Diverting.

More please, lots more

This was such a fun series to read. I read all 3 back to back. I can see a lot of cool directions this could take, so hoping for more.

This is a heartfelt fantasy that may or may not happen now or in the future. It is an interesting and exciting concept that I enjoyed reading.
