Jacob Glatstein (Yiddish: יעקב גלאטשטיין) was a Polish-born American poet and literary critic who wrote in the Yiddish language. His name is also spelled Yankev Glatshteyn or Jacob Glatshteyn.
A rather boring description of a ship voyage to Europe in 1934 as Hitler was rising to power. The author gets many different Jews opinions about the rise of anti-semitism and the Soviet Union's experiment and how it could be applied to capitalist workers who were overworked and abuse by the system.
