Beautiful artwork, easily understood instructions, quality pictures, and a wide variety of techniques. I borrowed this from the library and now I want my own copy!

As of 2/16 I have read quite a few snippets. One thing I am still enjoying are the large number of illustrations - GOOD illustrations. Almost every page has a lot of illustrations, which I love, especially for the price. I also love the voice that Linda and Laura Kemshall write in. Helping, teacherly and confident, bu also encouraging and not condescending.

Amazingly beautiful painted and printed "quilts" using a variety of techniques -- screen printing, stencilling, spraying, bleaching. Lots of excellent ideas for projects, or great if you just want to get lost in something visual.

Lots of nice information about painting on a quilt with everything from pastels to dye to paints. Even covers photo transfers and screen printing however not all of the information is very indepth. It does give lots of creative ideas.
