There are three phases to a zombie apocalypse... run... hide...fight. Billy was there right at the beginning when the first victim coughed over their lunch. Amanda was working as a nurse at the E.R. and Samantha was about to meet the cult behind the whole outbreak. Professor Preston, head of the CDC, tried to rally the forces of science, but found himself awaiting his execution in a junkyard. The list of characters grows as they run, hide, and learn to fight, not just the growlers, but the forces that unleashed them. The government tried nuking the growlers, but that just spread the infection. They tried sending in tanks, but the infection got inside. They tried sending in the marines, now the growlers have body armor.
This series was recommended to me, and I am so glad I purchased the books. Full of fast zombie like creatures called growlers and a full-fledged political conspiracy. The characters are well written and allow the reader to become very invested in their story. No spoilers, but these two books are fantastic, and if you enjoy the zombie genre, then you do not want to miss this series. I hope book three comes out soon!
My characters lived to fight another day. They're all starting to finally meet each other and you just know they're gonna blow stuff up. With thousands of zombies chasing them and millions of people out looking for them, our crew is destined to hide.
So, this started off with a bang, and ended with an interesting cliffhanger. Our team’s storied are coming together and the hate for the king is overwhelming. Yes, it’s worth your time and money. You will enjoy it. The only issue I have is the medical intervention- I am a medical professional and you wrote it wrong. I will help if you need me!
This is actually my first zombie series and I really like it! Like I said in my review of "Run", the characters all have their own story line and issues. The fact that these different characters come together is done very well. I think this is the end of my review because I do not write spoilers! I am looking forward to Books 3 and 4.
I'm pleasantly surprised. I've been binge reading zombie books for the last year, and it's always nice to find a simple story that is a bit unique, with likable characters and without being too focused on how only the worst of humanity survives to prey on the innocent/good people.
I'm finding these books to be very entertaining. Not The Stand by any means but keeps ya turning the pages. Characters are fun and I like the addition of a few kids. On to the next
Beginning to warm up now with more action and more growlers to sort out as well as the cult to avoid. Moved onto phase 3 run run to try and find a cure but thousands of monsters in their way and for some their own demons to fight
I read the first two books and I loved them. The characters are fierce and compelling. The pictures completely complement the stories in each chapter. Great read.
