A spicy holiday romance inspired by Hollywood’s sexiest man
Guarded Love
All Minnow wants for Christmas is to meet her favorite Hollywood heartthrob, a wish that would have come true if it weren’t for his straight-laced, hard-chested, annoyingly attractive head of security, Baxter, getting in her way. With the two of them repeatedly forced together every time Minnow attempts to throw herself in her favorite actor’s path, will Minnow suddenly find a desire to unwrap a different gift this year?
Double or Nothing
As they navigate marketing an upcoming Christmas movie, Adam's long-hidden feelings for his best friend Mandy surface during the film’s premiere. A kiss sparks tension, but after Mandy makes a terrible decision, this friends-to-lovers happy ending could be over before you can say mistletoe.
Finding Christmas
Nick Winters has big Christmas plans. He’s ready to level up and go after everything he wants, and Thea Beaumont is at the top of his wish list. The gorgeous screenwriter has captivated him ever since she arrived and complained about Christmas. Can he use the magic of the season to convince her to give him a chance?
Mistletoe Magic
Luca and Mia have been best friends since they were ten. But they’re not kids anymore. When a beautiful actress makes a move on Luca, the unexpected jealousy takes Mia by surprise. After years of missed opportunities, Luca’s ready to finally take the leap at Christmas. But it’s going to take a lot more than just mistletoe for Mia to admit her true feelings.

I read the anthology 'Anyone But Him' by these four authors who I credit my dabbling in romance to because I enjoyed it so much. Of course I was excited to read their next anthology.
Each one of these books features 'Hollywood's hottest man' and is Christmas themed. I love that each story was so different, but still about Chris and Chris-mas. I laughed a lot in the first part, particularly love a good parents and tech line.
I won't go into each novella because they're short and sweet, and I'd recommend enjoying them going in blind like I did - I will say there's quasi enemies to lovers, die hard Chris Evans fans, one bed, Chris Evans body double, friends to lovers and even a scavenger hunt features somewhere 😉.
Each novella is pretty spicy for at least a few pages.
Thank you to the authors for my eARC in exchange for my honest review. Publication is 15 December.
All I want for Chris-mas ⭐⭐⭐.5 🌶️🌶️🌶️ This book is a Christmas anthology, where all 4 stories have one reoccurring theme - Chris Evans/same universe. I think my favourite stories were Mistletoe Magic Alison Middleton. Mia and Luca were adorable 😍 My other favourite was Finding Christmas by Emma Mugglesrone. Thea & Nick!?! *Chefs Kiss* loved this short story, I wish it was longer and we got to hear/learn more.
Overall a cute Christmas Anthology to add to your TBR to get you in the Christmas spirit 🎄🎁⛄

“I can confirm he’s just as good looking in real life”
4🌟This was great. It was like four little mini Hallmark movies. It was so cute. I loved how different the characters in the each of the stories were, but they had that central theme of Chris Evans. It was really freaking cute to see how it was gonna to play out what the angle was in each story I really loved it!
My fave story was definitely Guarded Love. These two were really sweet and I got big daddy vibes from Baxter. A really great, easy, festive fun read!
I was fortunate enough to receive and read the ARC for All I Want for Chris-mas and I decided to rate it 4 stars.
This book is an anthology written by four aussie authors. This book is split into four different short spicy Christmas books:
•Guarded Love by elouise tynan •Double or Nothing by stephanie hazeltinewrites •Mistletoe Magic by alison middletonwriter •Finding Christmas by emma mugglestone
Each book is so easy to ready and features a cameo of Chris Evans in some way or another.
If you love Christmas, spicy books and Chris Evans then you’ll definitely love this book!
This. Book. WOW! Very different stories, but such a great collection! The stories feature different tropes, settings, and styles, but all were fun, festive, and sexy. This second anthology from these authors hits just as much - and maybe even better? - than their first. I can’t wait for more! I laughed out loud. I swooned. I fanned my face. 😅
Mistletoe Magic and Finding Christmas were my standouts here, but all four stories were excellent, sexy fun. And who doesn’t love a good Chris Evans cameo?
Guarded Love Minnow might be after Hollywood’s hottest leading man, but Baxter, the sexy AF security detail, might be an even better option… (spoiler alert: He is 😏) This age-gap story had great banter and scenes hot enough to melt snow 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Favorite Quotes:
‘Now that we were interacting without the pressure of an imminent celebrity encounter, I could appreciate Baxter for everything that he was. And when I added it all up, he was someone I wanted to climb like a tree.’
‘… making me moan so loud the neighbors were probably worried for my welfare.’
Double or Nothing This friends-to-lovers story had me feeling all the feels for Adam, and hoping Mandy could appreciate what was right in front of her. Sweet pining, only-one-bed, and an excellent payoff at the end 🌶️🌶️
Favorite Quotes:
‘“Pete is a jerk. He doesn’t deserve you. Mandy, you’re the most beautiful, incredible woman I know. It’s his loss.” “Adam, don’t make me ruin my makeup,” she says, swapping her wine for a tissue and dabbing her eyes. “One day he’ll wake up and see what I see, and he’ll regret letting you go.”’
‘What is this man doing to me? And why hasn’t he don’t it before?’
Mistletoe Magic This friends-to-lovers, fake-dating story had me swooning from the first page. Luca’s quiet love for Mia and her starting to realize there’s more to the relationship was everything - I was so emotionally invested in these two! Some mistletoe and a scavenger hunt - with an amazing prize at the end. I also suddenly want a treehouse… for… reasons 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Favorite Quotes:
‘She was formidable, wouldn’t back down from a fight, and took up space like she knew she was here for a reason.’
‘In that intimate moment, I make a decision. She made the first move - under the duress of peer pressure, yes. But I won’t ever let her be in the position where she wonders if her touch, her affection is welcome with me. If she lets me, I’ll kiss her every day for the rest of our lives.’
‘When our lips meet for the second time, it’s tentative. We’re both searching for something. A reassurance maybe? And although we don’t speak, the words are there. I trust you. I choose you. It’s always been you. Maybe later we’ll get around to expressing them out loud. We have time.’
“Poor baby,” he whispers. “You haven’t had a man properly take care of you before. That’s okay, I’ve got you.”
Finding Christmas I loved that this cowboy, found-family story followed on as the next installment from Jawson Ranch (started by the author in the last anthology) and gave me *all the feels*. Nick knows what he wants, and he puts his heart on the line for Thea (aka California). As she tries to finish up a Christmas romcom script and recover from betrayal, she might see the magic of the season… and one of the sexiest consent discussions 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Favorite Quotes:
‘“It’s pointless to try and resist the pull of Christmas, California. I was an elf in a past life.” Oh, boy. This kind of effervescence was intoxicating. It called to Thea. Teasing her with a warm feeling in her belly, lifting the weight of all her commitments off her shoulders.’
‘“I was never the right fit for the families I was placed with. I think, maybe, I tried too hard? And it made them suspicious.” “Those families missed out,” Thea whispered, and her words slipped under Nick’s skin, settling in his chest right next to his heart.’
‘Thea was going to kill him. But she’d make it look festive, in the spirit of the season and all that. Like he’d been run over by a herd of reindeer or ingested poisoned eggnog.’
‘“Yes, please. Get naked.” He quirked a brow at her. “So bossy, California. I like it but I think I’m going to take my time.”’
😍 All I Want for Chris-mas by Elouise Tynan, Alison Middleton, Stephanie Hazeltine, Emma Mugglestone 😍
Memorable Ideas/Moments: ✨ Brooding Bodyguard 💜 Movie Ticket Stubs ✨ Treehouse 💜 Puppies 😍 ✨ CHRIS EVANS
Ok, so this collection is four stories in one and all of them were fabulous. My favorite character in the bunch is Baxter because he’s brooding, grumpy, and loves to see a rise in Minnow. The storyline I loved the most was between Mia and Luca — something about scavenger hunts has me lovestruck! The best boyfriend in the crew? Nick. The best badass taking charge? Mandy.
All of the storyline revolve around Christmas, love, and have something to do with Chris Evans being in a movie — and it’s humorous and filled with several “awwww moments” throughout all four stories. They were quick paced, read easily, and brought up some fun, wholesome moments around the holidays. I almost wished each of them would just because their own full length novels, and if any of the authors decided that, I would absolutely be reading them. I also love that each had an epilogue — wholesome x2 for the win!!
The dialogue, banter, and tension throughout all four stories was solid. There isn’t one over another that’s better in terms of writing — it’s clear these authors really worked together to string a series of narratives together, and they don’t feel separate and oddly placed. It’s a perfectly coordinated anthology of Chris Evans inspired (but?) romances.
Spice: 🌶️.5 Recommend: Yes! Audience: Holiday romance lovers! Those that believe Chris Evans is the superior Chris in Hollywood. People who want a holiday, but not BAM IN YOUR FACE holiday read.
This anthology has four sweet and spicy Christmas romances that all feature Hollywood Heartthrob Chris Evans (yes please!)
They were fast-paced and so much fun to read!
Guarded Love - Elouise Tynan - bodyguard - Age gap This was so much fun. Minnow is a devoted member of the Chris Evans fan club, Baxter is the head of Chris’ security detail. There’s fun banter and wicked sexual tension between the two and I ate this shit up! The spice was on point, and the way she calls him “Daddy” 🥵
Double or Nothing - Stephanie Hazeltine - Workplace romance - Friends to lovers This was such a cute read. I’m a sucker for a friends to lovers romance and I loved the dynamics between Adam and Mandy. Mandy has recently been promoted to Adam’s boss and when she has to attend a movie premier where her ex will be there, Adam steps in as her date. The grand gesture in this story had me squealing 🥰
Mistletoe Magic - Alison Middleton - childhood friends to lovers - Scavenger hunt This was like a warm hug! Luca has been in love with Mia since he first saw her and it takes his meddling sisters to come up with a plan to force Mia to see exactly what’s been in front of her the whole time. I love the “it’s always been you” trope and this one hit the nail on the head!
Finding Christmas - Emma Mugglestone - Cowboy/city girl - Small town This was exactly like a hallmark movie. Thea is a script writer from LA visiting Jackson Hole for inspiration for her new screenplay. Nick was a small town cowboy with plenty of heart. He helped restore Thea’s faith in Christmas. Super cute!
This was my first Anthology and I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the authors (Elouise Tynan, Alison Middleton, Stephanie Hazeltine and Emma Mugglestone) that wrote this book to let me be apart of your arc team for this heartwarming book.
This is 4 novellas all in one book. I would really recommend this for someone who’s just starting it read or trying to work out what your into tropes wise this had a bit of everything like enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, best friends to lovers and other tropes and I don’t want to spoil it so I suggest you just take the plunge and purchase it there’s spice and banter in each one and compliments all the naughty and nice parts. Each novella romance has a special part in my heart but this book will be a Christmas reread as much as I deem appropriate 😂. This has the best of a Christmas book 4 book boyfriends, holiday and festive feels, spice that can be extra naughty or nice, it even had a storyline around Chris Evans I don’t know what else you could ask for. This for me was a 4⭐️ read and I’m so thankful that I had this opportunity it has been a lovely time reading this book. The spice level was a solid 3🌶️. I would definitely recommend it though if this sounds down your street. This book has been released today 😊.
This has it all! I finished it in Boxing Day and it had everything Christmas and Chris-mas in it - I highly recommend it because the four stories are different but complement each other and are all so satisfying. Elouise Tynan’s story is hot, hot, hot and the premise is really unique. I loved the tortured hero in Emma Mugglestone’s and his use of a nickname for Thea. I’ll be thinking of them with every mulled wine I have now too! Reading about Andi and Jack again was an unexpected bonus! Stephanie Hazeltine’s had a different male lead and I was curious to find out how he wooed Mandy with the reverse power dynamic. Alison Middleton’s had the cleverness I’ve come to expect from her writing and the development of the extended family adds a richness to the romance. Four really captivating stories! Get it!
I loved the concept of this Chris-mas novel so much. Four Aussie writers showcasing their love for the 'good' Chris (debatable lol) by using him as a catalyst in 4 individual love stories.
It actually works really well, the stories are just long enough for realism and to delve into the characters back stories so it doesn't feel rushed and allows them to fall in love properly.
You have everything from a Chris superfan and his security guard, a vet who watches Dodger and her long suffering in-love-with-her best friend, a movie publicist and her childhood friend turned something more and a small town rancher falling hard for a visiting screenwriter. They all work so well, showcasing the authors strengths in romance.
If you're after bite-sized sweet HEA stories with the hint of Hollywood - then give this Christmas anthology a try!
Four short, sweet, spicy, sometimes angsty, and always addictive romance reads in this anthology. I did a buddy read with one of my book besties for this one and we honestly sat there and binged the entire thing, giggling away and kicking and screaming while we swooned.
I’ve read these authors before, from their previous anthology and their individual work, and I take my hat off to them all for being able to make me fall in love with their characters in such a short time frame. I am very much a character driven reader, and these ladies have such an incredible talent for immediately captivating their audience and getting them invested in their character’s lives.
This was my first holiday themed read for the season and I cannot wait for more!
TROPES: •Small Town •Holiday Romance •Forced Proximity •Spice + Banter •Cowboy Romance •Age Gap
Girls, thank you so much for this ARC. I appreciate the opportunity.❤️🎄
This is the perfect reading for this holiday season, you need to read this anthology. You won’t regret it, I PROMISE.
I absolutely enjoyed this spicy collection of holiday romance stories. Each one of them had me giggling like a high schooler.
I must say, that although I loved each one of the couples… Minnow and Baxter were my favorite characters, they have my heart. That man’s mouth and the alpha male vibes had me driving up the walls. LOL
Well, I just happened to adore Chris Evans so there's that going for it straight away...
Four fun filled sexy Christmas romps, full of heart and lightly spiced (just like my favourite Christmas gin!)
I'd only read one of the authors before so it was a delight to have a taste of the other's work too. I think my fave was Emma Mugglestone's story with Thea and Nick! An old cottage? A man with a complicated childhood? Yes please! But they were all equally well written stories that had lots of great romance tropes.
I should head back and read the other anthology these authors did because this was a great, easy and enjoyable read! Just what the doctor ordered right before the busiest time of the year!
It's Tiiiiiimeeeeee! It's Christmas, so you betcha l'm reading all the Christmas books I can before the New Year!
First up was this sweet read, four short romance stories about Christmas & of course Chris Evans (celebrity hottie!). 6° These were beautiful stories, quick romances and full of the spice!
Definitely a great start to get into the Christmas spirit. I enjoyed all the stories equally. They had the perfect amount of banter, spice and wit. All MC's were written perfectly, and although these were short stories - they weren't missing anything a normal novel would have except the work for the HEA.
These authors really nailed it. Four vaguely Chris Evans related romances (without featuring Chris as the love interest) that are heart-warming and spicy all at the same time.
I just adored each and every one of the stories and am looking out for the next anthology from these people. They are currently 2 for 2 and I’m ready for more!
The perfect read to get you into the holiday spirit.
What is better than one book boyfriend?? Four book boyfriends!! And that's exactly what you get in "All I want for Chris-mas". Four completely different, swoon worthy, hot stories which all include some kind of Cameo of Chris Evans and take place around Christmas (hence the title 😉). I loved every one of the cosy and 🌶️🌶️ stories which are perfect for this upcoming holiday season.
Four quick and easy to read Christmas romances?? Yes please!! These were cheesy, full of Christmas spirit and mentioned Chris Evans at every possible moment! Lightly spiced 😉 and full of different tropes, these short reads will hit the spot this Christmas 🎄 Thea & Nick will have a spot in my heart though 😍
Each author’s story was unique, even with the common thread of Chris Evans Not one author compromised on quality in their stories. In each you came to know the characters and root for the first kiss A wonderful way to dip your toes into multiple authors All the Hallmark Christmas vibes!
4 semi-spicy tales full of all the best rom-com tricks and tropes. This was such a fun way to end a long day by escaping into these little novellas. Definitely recommend. 🎄🥰🎄
