Patrick Mahomes first started playing sports when he was just a little kid. In high school, he wanted to play baseball because his dad wanted him to play. Then, when he went to college, he wanted to start playing football. In college, Patrick Mahomes played for Texas Tech, he wasn't the starting quarterback, he was the backup, when Baker Mayfield got hurt, it was Patrick Mahome's time to shine. At the end of college, he got drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs. Now the Chiefs are the number one team in the nation. They've won back-to-back Super Bowls.
