Love knows no boundaries; it's written in the threads of destiny….

"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break." – Chinese Proverb

The Invisible Red String is a soulful odyssey where an invisible red thread of destiny weaves a tapestry of love, growth, and transformation across continents.

Join four extraordinary souls as their lives intertwine in the most unexpected of ways, transcending the barriers of race and culture to create profound and meaningful connections.

John, an advertising executive, carries the scars of a turbulent past, a product of the foster care system, now striving to provide a loving home for his son, who has Down syndrome. When his supermodel wife abandons him, he finds himself at a crossroads, searching for healing and redemption.

Anna, hailing from a conservative background in Kerala, India, knows the pain of forced arranged marriages and the depths of physical abuse. As a divorcee, she's determined to break free from her past and discover her own path to happiness.

Jake, a successful cardiologist, appears superficial on the surface, but beneath his polished exterior lies a longing for something deeper. He embarks on a journey of self-discovery, encountering a love that transcends time and space.

Emotional journey full of surprises

In my opinion, this book immerses you in the messiness of life, love and heartbreak, letting you get carried away by the crazy and interconnected lives of each of the characters in this story. It's about breaking those boundaries and celebrating the beautiful and messy human experience and the connections that life experiences bring.
The characters, John, Anna and Jake, became my best friends throughout the story. I didn't just read the book; I pretty much felt all of their dramas, stories and triumphs. It's a book that I personally will read in the blink of an eye, it completely grabs you.
I was totally thrilled after reading this book. I promise it's going to be a journey full of surprises, emotions and maybe a bit of wisdom about this thing we call life. Recommended.

The term “the invisible red string” refers to a Chinese proverb about a string that ties people together who are destined to meet. That is the theme at the heart of this novel, which has two authors rather than one.

Several characters are tied together by one of these strings of fate, even if they don’t know it. They come from diverse backgrounds and lead dramatically different lives, but they are bound to collide. That is inevitable, and once the reader understands the concept it becomes a matter of waiting to see exactly how these fated meetings will take place.

Even if the reader knows very early on that the individuals they are reading about will run into each other, part of the fun of this book is trying to figure out how it will happen. What’s somewhat miraculous is that the weaving together of their stories does not seem the least bit contrived. Instead, it seems natural and correct, just like love feels when it’s genuine. That’s a tribute to the authors’ skills as storytellers, and it’s what makes this novel so effective and worthwhile.

Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book.

This was a real struggle for me to get through and I did end up DNF. The concept of the book and the plot was good and so were the morals/themes within. I did enjoy the concept of some of the backstories of the characters.

However, I really struggled with the writing. It came across really disingenuous to me. No people in real life talk like the characters in this book. It became almost a word salad. The author never passed up any opportunity to use multiple adjectives and adverbs and it came across as 'look how many words I know.' I also lost count of how many times the author used some variation of the word aroma. I mean we are talking sometimes multiple times in one page. It drove me crazy.

This book does have potential, but really needs a heavy-handed editor.

Hold onto your hats, folks, because The Invisible Red String is a love story that'll have your heart doing somersaults! From the very first page, I was hooked by the magical concept of an invisible red thread connecting people destined to meet. This book is like a rollercoaster of emotions, taking you on a whirlwind journey with four unforgettable characters: John, Anna, Jake, and Lilly. They come from different backgrounds, but their stories are bound together by fate in the most unexpected ways.

What I love most about this book is how it tackles heavy topics like abuse and trauma while also celebrating the power of love and connection. It's a story that's as deep as it is heartwarming, and you won't be able to put it down.

The Red String.

Starting from the famous Chinese proverb, the authors develop a great novel in which characters relate to each other, sometimes unexpectedly, because they are meant to.
The Invisible Red String: A love story that transcends time, place, and circumstance by Ann Zachariah and Peter Berlin is a deep story of love, personal improvement and healing from the past. The story follows John, Anna and Jake, three different people, each with their problems, their past and their experiences, but they are destined for an unbreakable bond.
The authors' ability to write is amazing; the plot flows naturally and in a captivating way. Also, I really liked the famous phrases included at the beginning of each chapter. Like a fan of love, I really enjoyed this book.

“The Invisible Red String” is a book of romance but also reality.

Love finds its ways to connect people even before you know it, and the truth is that there are destined to meet and love each other. This book tells the stories of different people and how their relationships intertwine to allow the red thread to connect them in the right way.
It is a book with a romantic storytelling but at the same time real, with real life characters that make you feel as if you were the one in the story and helps you understand that sometimes, the painful past is nothing more than an experience that you needed to live and then meet the right person.

Romantic and exciting

I had heard before the concept of the invisible red string but I had never read such a good story about It. This concept refers to a Chinese proverb that claims two people who are destined to be together have a red string that connects them no matter how far or how many obstacles are in there way, they will always find their way to each other. If you are down to read a romantic novel full of excitement and emotions that touches your heart, this is the one you should read. This is a novel that is going to wake a lot of feelings up in you and it is really enjoyable.

This is a very compelling romance novel. I love this idea of a red string attached to two people and that life will always bring them together. But what I enjoyed the most about this book was getting to know each character, their backgrounds and life experiences, it gave a lot of context to follow their stories.

I liked the concept of this because I think the idea is universal. As I carried on reading though, I found I didn't really feel the connection with the characters or the story that I hoped for. I didn't really identify with any of the characters and they didn't speak to me, as I hoped they would.

The Invisible Red String was written by Ann Zachariah and it follows the ancient tale about a red string that connects people. Having that in mind, I believe Zachariah took an already written story and flipped it to another level! Emotions run high in this reading and they are filled with descriptive details that paint a vivid picture. The plot is compelling and so are the characters. Solid read
