I really enjoy seeing "older" couples in a story. As a recent member to the 40 club, it was refreshing to see a reflection in the MC, and I am a sucker for a graying beard. Swoon.
While I felt the story itself was a bit rushed, and escalated a little too quickly, it was enjoyable and sweet.
I do wish there was more of a build up to tie them together as a couple. I felt like the heart of the romance was missing, and then suddenly they just...were. I'm not opposed to a rushed relationship, it is true, sometimes you just know (me and my hubs can attest to that) I just wanted a little more on the page to push the couple together. I wish half stars were a thing...3.5.
This was a cute relaxing read with a bit of steam and a whole lot of adorable baby. That said, I really enjoyed this story. The author did a good job of developing the main characters for the length of this novel. I liked her writing style which was smooth, professional, and just descriptive enough to keep the story moving forward at a steady pace. Carson's and Zinnia's story is unconventional on all sides which gave it a new-to-me angle, I found appealing and unwilling to put down. I am definitely going to get the next book in this series.
Sometimes the hard choices we make can turn onto the best decision ever. This is a short sweet story about choices made that end up making everyone happy. Carson and Zinnia are perfect together as they find the way to happiness. Both have level heads and careers that are established. When Carson moves in next door he never imagined what was going to happen. The author has taken a unique event and turned it into a really sweet story. I enjoyed this book immensely as I'm sure other readers as well will.
This is the book in this series , it's a quick read bringing two different people together just because he gets a different job. His neighbor is a looker, with a baby and he sees something special in them both. Love hits them both fast and even though don't know it, there is another connection that they don't know about. A great book with wonderful characters and a story that is 100 % fun and I really enjoyed it.
Carson and zinnia story was short and sweet and a bit hot at times. I love that Zinnia took the bull by the horns so to speak. Very cute and fast paced HEA looking forward to seeing more of this series.
Zinnia's a single mother who's decided not to wait for Mr. Right to have a child. After her new neighbor, Carson, moves next door they both hit it off. Can their love be real after so little time or does love even need a timetable?
Was so good! I'd have to say once I got to a sertian point I was able to see how the ending would be, but I still enjoyed the book! The writing style was clean and cute and very well done.

A short sweet story, some stream. Well written. Zinnia always wanted to have a child. At 40 she gave up on Mr. Right. Little did she know she would soon be her neighbor.
