Interview with an Angel: An Angel Reveals Astonishing Truths About Life and Death, Religion, the Aferlife, Extraterrestrials, the Power of Love . . . and More
In a dynamic two-year interview an angel answers your most compelling questions.
When psychologist Linda Sue Nathanson consulted holistic practitioner Stevan J. Thayer, she was seeking help for a chronic illness. What she received was a gift so unexpected it changed her deepest beliefs about life . . . and death. Along with the healing she sought, Linda met an angel named Ariel who, channeled through Steven, allowed her to ask questions that touch us all.
Do Heaven and Hell Exist? What is the most powerful prayar? What is the real meaning of angel encounters? Based on audiotapes of those astounding sessions, this book brings us Ariel’s teachings and stunning revelations about finding love and our soul mate . . . about our karma and a divine plan . . . about the afterlife, the biblical Eden, Jesus Christ, and even startling information about aliens.
Miraculously, Interview with an Angel directly conveys a message from a spirit guide—words of comfort and guidance, and answers to the questions we most want to know.
“A timely, exciting look at angels in our lives.”—Rabbi Joseph H. Gelberman, Ph.D., president, The New Seminary, NYC
This is an interview by the psychologist Linda Nathanson of an "angel" called Ariel channelled by Stevan J. Thayer. There is a comprehensive and scholarly introduction by Alfred S. Alschuler, who discusses famous persons throughout history who have "heard voices".
Linda poses questions about the spiritual realms, life on earth, extraterrestrial life, biblical life and so on. Ariel refers to herself in the plural - perhaps she speaks on behalf of the whole angelic realm, or perhaps she is a collective consciousness. We are informed that there exists nothing that is not part of the whole, the unity. "Soul is the essence, the substance, the energy that is God." They state that there has never been a time before which they did not exist, and there will never be a time after which they do not exist. Moreover, there has never been a time before which we ourselves did not exist.
To my mind, this implies that the whole Big bang theory about the creation of the universe is baloney, since the universe/universes, God, and we ourselves apparently always have existed. Kryon, the Magnetic Master (see the channelled books by Lee Carroll) states also that he has always existed, and that it is a limitation (he calls it "an imprint restriction") in our understanding that we insist on the necessity of things having to have both a beginning and an end.
Ariel refuses to answer all questions, and in fact states that they use Linda's questions to give the messages they wish to give. They refrain from answering certain questions if "they will take you far afield from the main current of your soul's flow". They state that they always seek to provide with their words a change that brings people back to "the very path of their own life".
Ariel states also that they are not really able to answer the questions at all accurately because of our limited understanding. However, they do the best they can to provide an answer that approximates the truth.
All Ariel's statements and explanations are at an advanced level and require an expansion of our usual thought processes to be comprehended. They give several definitions of "angels", including that an angel "is everything in the realm which, on a vibrational level, exists between the human experience and the concept of unity or God".
Some of Ariel's utterances are quite unexpected. For instance: "We in this realm will dance with joy as easily in seeing you outrageously angry as in seeing you outrageously happy. For your anger and happiness are both expressions of your aliveness".
Re the "second coming", Ariel indicates that this will not come in a physical form but is "a planetary and global evolution of mind moving at a very high spiritual vibration, bringing people's awareness ... into a greatly expanded state of consciousness where the common experience with ... the Holy Spirit will come as a natural and normal phenomenon". It will bring about an easing of fear and an opening to love and joy. The result of the planetary transformation will be a return to what was known as "Eden". (This accords with what has been predicted by Kryon, many of Dolores Cannon's regressed subjects and the Sirian High Council, as channelled by Patricia Cori.)
When channelling Ariel, Stevan experiences an indescribable level of love, and cannot hold back his tears. It is a state of love and joy at the same time.
Ariel discusses marriage and divorce, career, death, suicide, birth, health, homosexuality, etc etc.
Sickness can be a warning that you are far from your truth or ignoring feelings such as fear and stress. But it can also wake you up to a higher part of your life.
Regarding soulmates, Ariel makes the for some perhaps provocative statement that the victimizer and the victim are soulmates - "they are in perfect harmony and accord, operating at a soul level in perfect unison - one soul agreeing to have the experience of being a brutalizer, the other soul agreeing to have the experience of total ... victimization leading to either extreme trauma or death". Of course we have heard many times that the victim is "in on it", that the victimization experience is just as much his or her responsibility as that of the victimizer, but this is the first time I have heard or seen the term "soulmate" used in this connection.
They inform us that the action of a single person can send a shock wave, positive or negative, across the entire planet. That effect can impact the whole planetary structure. Thus our life is "of no small consequence" - it is part of a masterpiece. Again this echoes the words of Kryon. It is good to be reminded in this way of how absolutely important each life is. We each play our part, and it is more momentous than we realize.
An important truth (perhaps the most basic truth of all) that Ariel constantly reminds us of is that "all things are one, all things are part of that same one, and that one pervades all things". Also, love is "the substance of the universe". It is "the feeling .... that you experience when you ... are doing that which is your purpose, that which is your place and mission". And the realm from which they speak is nothing more, nothing less than Love.
Thus, this is a valuable, inspiring book, which must be awarded five stars, and I thoroughly recommend that you read it.
I really enjoyed reading this book. I took my time with it and processed how I felt about the concepts that it presented. Many wise words to be found in the pages.
This book was a gift from a good friend, an energy healer in Colorado. It's written in a question/answer form, and covers a broad range of topics. Enjoyable and thought provoking.
Excellent book. This book answers the age-old question: What is the meaning of Life? If you choose to find and read this book, your perception of life will be totally changed.
