Keyana is full of BIG ideas, such as making a class quilt to celebrate the hundredth anniversary of her school. This feel-good story features some important lessons: working together to accomplish a common goal; overcoming obstacles, such as performance anxiety and fear of public speaking; and maintaining a positive mental attitude. Colorful and engaging illustrations promote positive messages about school, social engagement, teamwork, and self-esteem.

Cute story about a girl and her classroom making a quilt to celebrate her school's 100 year anniversary. I really liked the story and could see this being read in a classroom.
