In this slow burning, modern noir story, a single dad’s infatuation with a glamorous divorcee draws him into a love triangle and a dangerous deal with foreign investors for a coveted vineyard property in the Columbia River Gorge.
Portland, Oregon, high school history teacher Scott Larson goes looking for love on Tinder. Unfortunately, he falls for someone he really can’t Kim Marseilles, a formerly wealthy woman with a complicated love life and aspirations for success in Oregon’s artisanal wine industry.
Scott and Kim’s romance heats up as they spend time in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, where Scott likes to windsurf and Kim is opening a small winery. But as the spring gives way to summer, Kim gets drawn back into the fold of her estranged lover and business partner, Camden.
Just as Kim is slipping away from Scott, he becomes acquainted with a wealthy foreign investor who presents him with the opportunity to become the owner of one of the most stunning vineyards in the Gorge and just maybe regain Kim’s interest. With Scott’s better judgment eclipsed by his infatuation with Kim, he’s bound to make bad decisions that have devastating consequences.
