Another great chapter in the shifters series

Were Jaguar Agent Samantha Reece is hunting prolific serial killer Mark Christopher when she falls ill. Sam ends up stuck between halfway between her human and Jaguar self. Jix her spirit jaguar is allowed to take over to fight the illness.

I really enjoyed reading about Sam and Jix again as I've missed these characters. I feel I got to know Sam and her traumatic past better and more about Jix and her thoughts and feelings. That tug also if wanting your past but your aren't the same person also played into my enjoyment.
