Since the 16th century, the small Spanish village of Lagartera has been famous for its exquisite embroidery. Here, available outside of Spain for the first time, are instructions for more than 50 projects using Lagartera techniques and other Spanish stitches. Among the projects are samplers, scissor fobs, a table runner, and more, as well as decorative edging and borders. Projects are rated for beginner, intermediate, and expert skill levels.
