I am usually not one for 'self-help' books but this isn't cheesy. It's simple and honest. It's a quick read that will be reread often. I like the ideas this book outlines and look forward to being exposed to more of her work!

Helps to make sense of many inevitable human emotions and how to cope with the feelings emotions may stir. Learning how to practice experiencing the ebbs and flows of emotions has helped in being able to navigate through them and into a a place of more peace and understanding. The most valuable practice I have learn it to learn how to stop rejecting the outside environment and invite it into my space...whether it is pleasing or displeasurable...I have hope that one day I may even be able to tolerate a dog barking!!!
