A book about cats written over 150 years ago by a cat lover. Now this is interesting, something for everyone who loves cats to read.
And it was a pretty good book. Weirdly organized, with a lot of anecdotes of how smart cats are, how they build friendships with other animals, how they get attached to humans, some biological facts about cats, their history and also tips on how to take care of them.
The guy sure loved cats and knew about them. It was a good read. I was torn to give it 3 or 4 stars. Decided for 4 because it was interesting to read knowing when it was written and how they looked at it then.
And it was nice how he repeated several times that cats getting only attached to the house is a myth. One that some people believe even today. And at the end he said that people who hate cats just don't know them. Isn't it true!
