Now what child does not dream or make a wish? It took some time for Miss Carlile’s wish to come true, but we enjoyed the colorful pictures of dogs of every size and sort, making that journey feel short. Children will delight in the pictures and likely pick out a favorite dog or two, and I think
you will too.

Such a charming story and I love the theme of dreaming, wishing, hoping. I think pre-school and early school children will love this sweet story and they will love the dogs. Perfect for reading to them and getting them to read later. The illustrations are unusual in a most beautiful way. The illustrator’s use of colored pencils makes for a dreamy quality. I highly recommend this book for your little ones.
