The Tournament of Scions has begun.

The time has come for Ty to attend the tournament of the Constellation Hierarchy. With all-new abilities, plus help from King Vudon’s own daughter, he will face the most elite scions on any world. His only hope of victory will be to rely on every trick and strange ability he’s obtained.

Under the veil of the tournament, the Monster god’s allies prepare for their most ambitious plan yet: to steal King Vudon’s throne. In a place between realities, where anything is possible, Ty won’t be content to let evil corrupt the Hierarchy.

But what can one Knight do to stop it?

A good series losing its way?

I loved the early books, but as the series has progressed there are too many new characters and species and worlds and subplots constantly getting introduced. Instead of resolving any of the subplots, those threads are left open and unresolved, as we are introduced to yet another surprise god or cool universe or extradimensional uber species that makes the previous uber species look weak. It's exhausting trying to keep track of all the open threads. And worse, unavoidably the main plotline has slowed to a crawl as a result. I dearly hope I am wrong, but I just don't see how this story will ever come to completion at this rate. And if it does, since my INT isn't 25, I doubt I'll have the intellectual capacity and patience to hold all those subplots in my mind long enough to properly appreciate such an ending. :-( I envy all you INT 25 folks who will though! :-D

really hate the cliffhanger

This book is okay, but nothing special. A lot of useless extra chapters to pad the page count. Not really great, the most interesting part of the book is the end, where Ty gets imprisoned by a God. Too bad that the book ends on a cliffhanger. In future releases less appendix chapters and more content in regard to Ty would be welcomed.

Terrible ending

What kind of ending was that?!? Just cut it in the middle of a sentence next time if you are going to cut the story arbitrarily.

This book had no central theme and little true progression.

Book 5 an interesting read, I was ready to read about exploits of unimaginable, superlative, Deity-like abilities, but instead we are given front row seat to "How to exploit your enemy and do absolute nothing in an other-dimensional tournament, it was such a letdown.......

Even with all these feelings of "I was hoping this and that and such" Book 5 gave us a glimpse of the bigger dimensions, one wherein beings stronger than a Knight resides, and as with all such stories there is the "Prime universe", "The One where everything originated from", beings so strong that they defy stat sheets.

This story has become so big that even I am having a hard time thinking and writing down a review, at the same time, my mind is running around with some ideas that would have benefited or made more of an impact to Ty's character specifically his abilities, although that part wherein Ty was about to receive his prizes from Vudon, that was simply SATISFYING, Ty has been the whipping dog of all these powerful beings and to lash away........well, this dog has a rabid bite!!!!

On to Book 6 then wherein more revelations are in order!!!!

Book five

Oh wow! What a cliffhanger!
I hate when authors do this. Right in the middle of something really important and interesting the book ended. I guess it's a good thing I can just go over to Royalroad and keep reading.
I will list the mistakes I found on Goodreads as well.

The MC is spending a lot of this book learning. Even the tournament was more about him learning more rather than just fighting.
Can't wait to see how he will change his build.

First completion for 2024! I continue to enjoy this series as Ty develops. While I understand socially awkward people with Asperger's, they are not a lot of fun to read about. The MC's travails have made him more in pretty much all ways than he was in the beginning, and the scope of the challenges here demands nothing less.

Ends on what would be a cliff-hanger if we didn't know that Ty already had a plan; it will be interesting to see how (because he will) he gets out of this one.

holy

Why do you do this? It’s like the story is wrapping around our fingers the entire time and then the floor gets jerked out and you realize it was your neck! Talk about a cliffhanger.
Ty learns a lot about himself in this book and it’s awesome to see him get to test his strengths in the tournament.

Absolutely Amazing

This book is very hard to put down, once you start you can’t stop until you’re done. It’s amazing watching Ty grow and power, his companions, and his domains continuing to grow in their own subtle ways. His interactions with other gods, Demi, gods, dragons, and dragon royalty. Looking forward to watch what he does to the new gods on earth.

Dragons and Boons

My oh my, have we found an adventure we love? Ty is becoming a Frat boy, and Grandma is witnessing it. The book is excellent and prepares me to jump to the next one!
