As a book club, we were instantly hooked by the way the story opened with Petey boarding the trolley marked 'Otherwise.' That moment carried the same magical spark we remembered from childhood classics like Narnia. What really resonated with us was how the author balanced wonder with real danger Sharlotta’s grief and courage added so much depth. We found ourselves asking, ‘What would we do if placed in their shoes?’ The green sky, upside-down birds, and west-rising sun sparked a lively conversation in our meeting about imagination and symbolism.
