I picked 4 stars because this book was very interesting and had some cool facts about fish records, and other cool speicies. If you are just getting into fishing this is a great way to learn. It has great things you can learn to know what to purchase. It explains different reels and hooks. If i could change this book, i would go into more depth about baits and other things to learn instead of focusing mainly on history.

This book was mainly about ancient egyptians and how they used spears and other things to fish with. Also how when your fresh water fishing you wont get most of the big fish you hope for and anglers should handle fish with care when you catch a fish you should release it. And you have to have a license by the ages of 12-16, you can get a big fine if you don't.
