Rate this book
In this second book in the One Byte at a Time series, I tell you about how my life continued to be heavily influenced by my online Bulletin Board System family. There were great times, wild times, and sad times. There are tales of romance, debauchery, friendships, and adversaries all centered around that online world. Follow my adventures if you'd like to see how we did things in the last days of the BBS before the Internet took over.

The author is a fifty something dude who hasn't quite grown up. As long as he can remember,
he wanted to be a writer but kept putting it off until he finally managed to get his act together.

A number of years ago he fell in love with The
Appalachian Trail and all things hiking related.
He lives a full-time RV life with his wife, Michelle, and two golden retrievers, Sawyer, and
Finn. He is constantly traveling with his family
while pretending to do a remote "real" job so he
can take their money while also writing.

A Wild Ride Through Love and Chaos

This book is a captivating exploration of a tumultuous relationship, featuring a cast of well-developed characters that draw you in from the start. The author’s portrayal of his girlfriend “itchwaB” adds layers of complexity, showcasing the struggles of narcissistic personality, sexual assault, teenage pregnancy, sex addiction, drug addiction and the party scene of the '90s.

The constant back-and-forth between the couple can be a bit overwhelming at times. While it effectively illustrates the complexity of their relationship, it occasionally left me wanting more resolution. Still, this chaotic dynamic kept me turning the pages, eager to see how things would unfold.

With tons of explicit content, the narrative is both raw and engaging, balancing steamy moments with the darker realities of their relationship. While the ups and downs can be exhausting, they effectively illustrate the chaotic nature of love. If you're looking for a book that dives deep into the messy side of romance, this one is a must-read!

Overall, this book is not for the faint of heart, but if you're looking for a story that captures the essence of a tumultuous love affair against a backdrop of '90s culture, filled with both passion and pain, this is definitely worth a read. Just be prepared for an emotional rollercoaster!
