Another good book on learning to play the trumpet. Its complete guide on how to assemble and care for your instrument. It helps you produce sound, read music notation and rhythms. There is a fingering chart and a glossary of musical terms. It comes with a DVD that covers the above themes. It also comes with a CD with 73 full-demo tracks that you can learn at your own pace. The demo tracks play each song in the book with a full band. What is nice is that each track has been given a track number, so if you want to practice a song again, you can find it and play it as many times as you like. Thats kinda of cool but I would rather have a DVD where I could see the music I have to play with the music in background. I think the best way is to play the music in the book first then listen to the CD. So many books are written on methods of playing the trumpet. I think this is an attempt to make the trumpet easy and fun.
