Facts Folks Facts
Would have liked more details about what happened to the bullies family and the principle of the school. Enzo's book says their aunt Bella Bestia(beautiful beast) runs a territory in Italy but in Sanson's books says they're still old school and women do not lead. Makes no sense considering who Enzo and Stephano married

Great read
Great writing. Kept me hooked through the whole book. Love these two characters. Can't wait for Jinx to grow up. Wish it was explained how Jink and Zakiya resembles do much.

Sansone and Zakiya
I thought Valentino, Sloane, and Tacito were deadly, but then you introduced us to Sansone and Zakiya, and all hell broke lose.
Sansone was deadly all by himself, but when he met Zakiya, he met his match. She knew who he was from the beginning, but she didn't care and wouldn't back down. She met him on every level, toe to toe. When he finally saw her in action, he knew he met his soul mate.
This book is definitely on my rotation. If I could, I would get it 10 stars.

Absolutely Marvelous
I really enjoyed Sansone and Zakiya story was more than I expected but everything I hoped it would be; seductive, alluring, sexy, antsy and had all the things which make the Savage Bloodline series what it is. WOW reading this one is pretty awesome and if you read it you can't help but too enjoy it also. The characters are so captivating with moments that will make you read each page twice its so compelling. I love Zakiya character she is a guardian of children but she's shy so much that she hides herself. But Sansone is just as handsome as any DeLuca man and one who loves strong women but he will also kill about his family. The story is filled with action, suspense and vengeance. I absolutely found this made it dear and sweet to my heart with Sansone daughter Jinx. This just pulls you in from the beginning of the story with vengeance it's so fantastic. Plus I enjoyed the fact that the couple has so much electricity between the two of them. What I enjoyed is their life it's full of secrets with this comes the drama so hold on tight because it takes you on wild ride while keeping you on the edge of your seat, and the suspense will ignite your curiosity and more. The chemistry in this story is absolutely insane, intense, steamy with passions that's enjoyable, it's a gripping and all-consuming slow burn that can take your breath away."The storyline characters, tension and the spice are all perfection! This is so great with a heroine who falls in love against her will and a hero who makes her truly earn him - it's tense, sexy, and will make your heart flutter and then you add in the craziness of a DeLuca family as they take no prisoners when it comes to their women and family. Then you have the intriguing suspense they go through it will give you such a pleasurable experience." Their working together with the violence it all had me laughing out loud but it's what keeps you turning the pages. There are so many moments that made my heart flutter so hard I thought it would fly out of my chest. Their chemistry? Off the charts! Watching them go from one reluctant partner to passionate lovers is breathtaking. The chemistry and sizzling passions between them is palpable, plus when you think they’re getting it all work out, things take another turn. I'm enjoying all things Savage Bloodline, so I knew Sansone DeLuca wouldn't disappoint! If you’re into steamy Mob bosses that forced proximity, sizzling tension, and plenty of salty banter, this story delivers. I’m still in shock at how amazing it is! Also the character development is so satisfying, especially if you enjoy a sizzling chemistry and a good enemies-to-lovers romance, this story is a must-read as well as the Savage Bloodline series! I couldn't help but to have a sleepless night because there was no way I could stop reading until it ended. OMG the ending had me excited and pleased that I wanted it to last longer. These stories are truly amazing that makes one of the best series I've read. So Happy Reading

One of the best DeLuca Savages books I've read!!
This author has been on my radar ever since her season 2 about Sansone's brother Valentino. And when I found out she was a part of season 3, I didn't waste any time pre-ordering this book. And I am so glad I did. Because this book went way beyond my expectations and has become one of my favorite DeLuca Savages books.
This book had me in a chokehold from beginning to end. Sansone and Zakiya were fire! Their very first meeting Sansone and Zakiya immediately lock heads. Although, they have one thing in common. Sansone's daughter Jinx. Sansone has misgivings about Zakiya at the same time he's intrigued by her and why she hides herself in plain sight. 🤔 Zakiya is not your typical heroine. No ma'am! And that's why I fell in love with this book. Sansone and Zakiya go on a roller-coaster ride through some ish to get to their happily ever after. The constant twists and turns had me glued to my Kindle. The passion, drama, pain, betrayal, steamy sex scenes, and extracurricular activities from Zakiya, and Jinx getting her HEA as well as Sansone & Zakiya was well worth reading. Melverna McFarlane dropped the mic with this book, left the stage, and has me wanting more. I loved that Sansone wanted Zakiya's flaws and all. And in the end, Zakiya realized she could love and trust Sansone with her heart, her soul, and her body. And Sansone found his family that he never knew he wanted.
This book is a must-read. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it.

Zakiyah Chase devoted her life to saving innocent children from human trafficking and a life worse than a living death. She had to use her wiles to blend in in order to do her job successfully. But Sansone DeLuca saw through her and knew she was hiding something when she presented him with his daughter Jinx. Being the alpha man he was, he liked the fact that his daughter's nanny did not cowl to his bravado but met it toe to toe. That was such a turn-on to him that he was determined to keep Zakiyah as his for the sake of him and Jinx. He wanted a real family but his ragazzaccia was hesitant. She had to keep him and Jinx safe as she was a marked woman. Once Sansone found out who the real "bad girl" is and was not repulsed by her, that broke down the remaining wall to Zakiyah's heart and leads them to the real loving family they all want and for the healing Jinx needed.
I loved the storyline in this book and Sansone's relationship with his brother and best friend. Zakiyah was so busy protecting everyone she cared about by being distant she had more friends who cared about her than she knew. Sansone was determined to make Zakiyah his wife. He was a man on a mission and he succeeded.

First, it takes these made men to long to detemrine the damage being inflicted is cominf from within.
Second, Zakiya is a a real one. She plays her role quite well to be able to accomplish her tasks.
Sansone is the usual Deluca that has a horrible paternal relationship. The older generation of Delucas weren't so great....side babies, horrible husbands and even worse fathers.....wow
They meet when she tries to give a child she rescused to the responsible parent...Sansone. However, when he first meets his daughter, he could tell she had experienced some hardships just by looking in her eyes and it brough up memories of his childhood with his dad, he leaves and threatens Zakiya.
Zakaiya just wanted to evaluate him and make sure that the little girl would be safe with him. She did not expect him to want her.
She lives her life very low key in a neighborshood where she thinks she is keeping a low profile. But she has an elderly neighbor that takes it upon himself to be her protector.
Her elderly neighbor had me cracking up. Thinking about how he looked soing the two step with a cane.....lol
This was a great story to the series.

The Avenger …
This book is difficult for me to review 🤔 packed with actions, twists and turns, suspense… etc
Well, when I grow up I want to be Zakiya , 😜
She is very forgettable, she is the type of person people don’t give a second glance. And that’s the way she wanted it until Sansone and even Aurilio, Max( Dory) and Mr Murphy, could see the true woman behind the disguise.
Her mission was to save as many children she could from being abused. She thought of herself as a monster because of the way she dealt with the abusers, however, in my eyes she is a hero and Sansone thought so too.
Sansone and Zakiya are well matched, they are definitely made for each other.

Y’all!!!! I loved this story! Zakiya was such a bad ass!! I love how strong Sansone was putting pressure on Zakiya letting her know that she was his even when she couldn’t wrap her head around it. At first Sansone pissed me off the way he reacted to Jinx but I understand why he did. I loved how both Sansone and Zakiya made sure Jinx had all the resources she needed met her at her level although I defff wanted something to happen to that damn school and the principal!!! This was definitely a page turner and at the top of the list of the series with some of the best ones to read in this series!!!

Just wow. I really enjoyed almost all of the main characters in this story. Sansone was your typical alpha male with douchebag tendencies but he softened up around those whom he loved dearly. Zakiya was a no nonsense, no holds barred woman who was very guarded and hardened. She later softened up around the people she realized she loved too. The plot was believable. The supporting characters were just as entertaining. All in all, it was a great read. The only drawback was the ever so often Italian sprinkled in without any context or translation. I had to keep going back to google translate to find out what was said.

they started at each other's throats. Zakiya was stealthy, Sansone was underestimating her abilities. he was shocked and afraid of being a father. he was caught off guard at Val's when he found out about a child. and when he saw that baby, he knew. he knew he needed her. he needed them.
even with all the threats lurking, he pledged to protect them. even if his nanny was able to enter and exit their lives when she needed. but he refused to allow her to walk away.
loved her way of justice, fighting for children being trafficked. loved that the topic came up and was handled.
enjoyed this one also.

This book was so good. Zakiya ( saviour and protector of trafficked children ) and Sansone ( DeLuca capo) had so much chemistry. He fell in love with a woman who was hiding herself but he saw her. Wow what a ride
Zakiya looks are very deceiving she isn’t what she seems..Sansone is dealing with treachery in the organization someone is destroying some of his illegal businesses ..Zakiya has a surprise for Mr. DeLuca his daughter Jinxes he is startled at her eyes there exactly like his..He runs off and Zakiya is disappointed Jinxes needs protection from an unknown threat ..She will not leave this beautiful little girl whom she helped rescue..

Whirlwind!
Ms. McFarlane has penned her best novel yet! Sansone and Zakiya were an incredible team! The witty banter and the heat these two generated had propelled them to my top ten couples! Jinx stole my entire heart! These DeLuca men are serious about their women and children! And let’s not forget the B.D.E they wear like armor, merciful Heaven! I finished this in one sitting, which meant dinner, laundry were not going to get done! Folks don’t pass this one up! Well done Ms. McFarlane! Beautifully written!

My Now Best Read of this Year
I’m going to have to put this in my re-read file. When there seems to be a slow release of a good read for me I go to my re-read list and read a story that I like to read again. I love 💕 this one, especially Zakiya the fact that’s she is an advocate for trafficking, as well as targeting pedophiles I would have love to call her. Then the best part is Sansone her ride or die will even go with her for her to continue her mission without stopping her from doing it further says a lot right there.

Bad A$$ FMC
This was really good. Though the main topic was heavy the author did an excellent job with story development. I loved that Zakiya was fearless and no nonsense. She took her position very serious and was all in on protecting Jinx and others. She was a perfect match for Sansone and she showed her. Dusan was quite ballsy, I had to reread certain parts with him. I loved Mr. Murphy too he was definitely unsuspecting. Great read and addition to the Savage Bloodline series.

The Savage Bloodline series is everything. I love that it just continues on and on. Sansone is another sexy made man. Zakiya is on a mission. I love the fact that she is no joke and she's excellent at what she does. This is a wonderful book. When you get a chance, read it. Fabulous job done by the author 🥰.

Zakiya tried to fight the inevitable!
We see how that worked out for her! She didn't know how these DeLuca men get down. What I wanted to know was what happened to the girls mother? Guess it doesn't matter, she is finally going to get the love and care every kid needs. Plus she will forever be protected!

Melverna writes the best MMCs
After Valentino I didn’t think she could top it in this series but she proved me wrong. Sansone was sweet/understanding and overall the perfect book bf. I loved the FMCs Dexter vibe without the lack of emotions she was such a bad ass but was able to overcome her trauma to grow in love

Listen this is a great read, seeing what Valentino's brother can bring to the table, this author really really wrote an awesome story line for him... He's all savage and Zakiya is no slouch either, she's savage with it as well... Really enjoyed this one....

Mysterious and thrilling!
I was in my element reading this story. I got a double dose of action and the mystery kept me looking for clues. I loved Zekiyah. She was not model thin and she was bad ass and cunning. I was sorry when the story ended.

Strong women are the best
Loved the story, I do appreciate you having strong women in your book. So many of the women are basically spoiled brats used to having their way that cause havoc in relationship .this one is definitely a book to read.
Loved the story, I do appreciate you having strong women in your book. So many of the women are basically spoiled brats used to having their way that cause havoc in relationship .this one is definitely a book to read.

A Great Read!!!
I have been waiting for Sansone DeLuca story since season 2 and I have to say I wasn't disappointed!!! I loved both Sansone and Zakiya. The chemistry off the charts and I didn't want the story to end!!!

This couple was everything, bada@@ describes them to a ‘T’.
The immediate love for Jinx was so sweet. The action scenes, love scenes, the camaraderie with her neighbors was priceless.
