Just by reading the title, I felt everyone could relate to this book. "July is a Mad Mosquito" is an illustrated poetry book written by J. Patrick Lewis and illustrated by Melaine W. Hall. The illustrator's craft is collagraph. Collagraph is collage with different prints and textures put into a press to create the artwork. The book includes a poem for each month of the year and ends with a poem including all of the months. The book's layout is most formal, with the text on the adjacent side of the illustrations. On the last spread, the text is in the center of the page with illustrations surrounding the text. Don't wait, buy this book when you can!
